Good value, nice course
Played here with my league early in spring. Course was in excellent shape, good layout, nice carts and inexpensive for what you get. Will definitely play here again.
Excellent Course
This course was very challenging but at the same time very fun. The staff was great.
Well worth the drive
We had a blast out there. The GPS on the carts is a nice feature. The layout of the course isn't that long, but you pretty much have to throw darts. Pace of play was a non issue. Got around in 3.5 hours. The staff answered all of my questions and could not have been any nicer to us. I had been wanting to play the course for many years and it was everything I had expected. I will gladly make the haul out there again.
Great Course
I am very happy with this course. In comparison to other courses in the area, this is one of the highest quality ones. Staff was friendly and did a good layout description for my friends who were first timers. Very well maintained for a Cleveland course.
Great
Great shape, firm greens, great atmosphere, staff was very friendly. GPS on carts is such a nice feature, look closely you can now see other carts on the map!! Make sure you grab a hot dog at the turn!! One of the best in Cleveland.
THIS COURSE HAS ENOUGH FALSE FRONTS TO GIVE ANY SHOW IN VEGAS A RUN FOR THIER MONEY. THE COURSE WAS PLAYING VERY SLOW FOR A MID DAY TEE TIME, PARTIALL
ENJOYED PLAYING THE COURSE, THE COURSE PLAYED VERY SLOW DUE TO CART PATHS ONLY. SHORT COURSE EVEN FROM THE BACK TEES, BUT PLAYS TOUGHER DUE TO ALL THE FALSE FRONTS AND UNDULATION ON THE GREENS. STAFF BARELY ACKNOWELEGED OUR PRESENCE AT THE FRONT DESK AND THE STARTER NEVER SAID A WORD, AND WE GOT OUR OWN CART OUT. PLAYING AGAIN THIS WEEKEND, HOPEFULLY IT WILL PLAY FASTER WITH A EARLY AFTERNOON TIME AND SUNSET AT 6:55PM.
Cart gps shows everything water cart flag
I enjoyed this course very much, well mantained and somewhat challenging. Would play again.
Great fall play
Nice fairways, fantastic outdoor environment. Really friendly staff. Had a great time, fast pace because of Sunday football/baseball combo. Really liked the gps.
Some challenging holes! nice fairways!
Nice par 3's nice and challenging greens! Good par 5's makes up for a good game of golf
GREENS ARE HARD TO HOLD
LOVE THE GPS ON THE CARTS,GIVES PERFECT DISTANCES TO HAZARDS,GREENS(FRONT,BACK,AND TO PIN)
Amazing staff
Course is well maintained, wish the fairways were as nice as the tee blocks. Overall a beautiful course and food and staff are top notch
A course that cater's to Golf outings, but not to golfers
Haven't played this course since I played in a golf outing. And now I know why.
"Kid" who checked us in - Rude
Asked if they were on time, and said of course we are. It was 11:25 am. I had an 11:30 am tee time, and there were 6 2-some carts still waiting to tee off.
"Starter" - had no idea who was who, and when groups were suppose to tee off. Let 4 consective 2-somes out - rather than combine them into 4-somes.
Many fairways under construction.
This course should just stick to booking golf outings. They have forgotten how to accomodate regular golfing. Round took just under 6 hrs....Let me repeat 6 Hours
Great layout and great features. Very scenic.
The course was in pretty good shape. Well maintained hit lot pristine. I've seen it in better condition but weather is to blame so I knew they are trying to keep it in good condition. For the price you couldn't get any better, although, I'd be willing to pay much more than I did to keep going back. Awesome overall course. Greens were also fast and had lots if break which is fun and challenging.
Enjoyable course.
Enjoyed the course layout, but don't care for the greens. The course fit the landscape nicely, except for the greens. Many were raised, small, and had false edges around the entire green. All in all, it's not enough to keep me from coming back.
Great course for a Great price
I booked our 4 some for a Sunday afternoon, the price was great and the course, the staff and everything related to our day was GREAT. Can't wait to go back again to Copper Top/ Cherokee Hills Golf Course!
Cart path only, but aren't they all lately?
Greens were a little lumpy where people hadn't fixed their divots. Course is fun to play. We play there a couple of times each year.
Good Place to Play Using Golf Now
I would only recommend this course if you get the Golf Now discount. Otherwise, its $38.00. Way over priced for the course. Staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you play there. Pace of play the day we played was brutal. Had to call the ranger for the 2 groups ahead of us. He took forever to get there. I hope others have a better time than we did. This is my first bad review of a course.
Challenging Course
Cherokee Hills is challenging. Course upkeep is good. I liked it....
On cart GPS is a nice feature
Play was slower due to the holiday. The course was in good conditions. Greens were a bit long and somewhat slow.
Tricky course.
I usually shoot 10-20 over par without cheating. I found this course pretty challenging. There is always a bunker or a water hazard somewhere. Only about three holes are straight away with no hazards. The greens are pretty much all shaped like a dome. So they are hard to stay on. Very nice maintained course but not pristine. There was an outing before my tee time of 222pm and the pins where all placed pretty much in the hardest spots you can put them. It was very fun and i love a challenge, I shot a 101. If you are a beginner you should probably save yourself some golf balls and pass this one by.
