first time at CT
Sorry to say all the tee boxes were being worked on they moved all the tee's up so it really played short. So it's tough to really give a fair opinion.
Course was in good condition compared to others I've played this time of year. My only issue was the speed of the greens was all over the place.
Great course
We always have a great time here. Beautiful setup of the course and great challenges for most holes. The staff is friendly, helpful and excited most of the time. Great upkeep on the course and the carts are the best I've seen in the area. The pro shop is great. Thanks for having us.

Regular Golfer
The course was in great shape for no rain in a few weeks. They have their own watering capability. pace of play was ok, ,everyone was friendly and willing to let you play though.
We played 2 people 18 holes 3.5 hours with stopping at the turn for food and beverages. We didn't see a beverage cart on the course. the fairways and the rest of the course was well taken care of. great job to the grounds keeper!
The grounds crew certainly appreciates your high marks, as do we! Glad that you found the course in such great shape and that other golfers were accommodating to your pace! We hope you will continue to be a regular golfer!

First time is always a challenge. GPS is a great help. Can't wait to play it again.

Loved it
If I could go there more often I would.
Wasn't slowed down by groups in front of me, course was in great condition despite raining that day and several storms in previous days. Didn't have one thing I didn't like there.
Heard about it on the radio and am happy I was able to find an affordable deal to go check it out, I will most definitely be back!
Fun time
This course is a very different look compared to most west side tracks due to the elevation changes, so it is a lot of fun to play. It is a very short course, even from the tips, but the fast, undulating greens are the only challenge. They were very soft the day we played, and even more so with a downpour on the 6th hole that stopped play for about 20 minutes. Its a fun course and I will be back. Two things- ignore the GPS at the tee box, often there was a 50+ yard difference between the scorecard and the GPS. This course also needs rangers as we were a twosome stuck behind a 3-some that was waiting for the group in front of them to reach the green before teeing off (on 400 yard holes), and there were other groups that had no idea what the word etiquette means and not paying attention to anyone around them.

The course seems to be in constant repair mode.
The day I played, the greens had not be mowed in a couple of days. REALLY shaggy and slow, covered with little worm hole mud mounds, so it was impossible to score.

Fun and challenging
Really enjoyed the day. Beautiful layout. Excellent shape. Fantastic value. Second time playing made a big difference on club selection. Picturesque holes. Loved it !!
Very good, as always
I used to play this course weekly until I built a home in Glade Springs Resort in Southern West Virginia. I was back in Ohio this past week and got a Tee Time at a very reasonable rate. The course was in excellent condition as I remembered it from the past. I enjoyed the round very much. We were a twosome and played in 3 hours.

was a same day decision too play, found hot deal on site for that day. We have played this course before and have always enjoyed it.
Great time
Course is in good shape. Some improvements being done (construction) but not bothersome. Dinner in the restaurant after was great food, service and price! Definitely a do again !!!
Huge Greens
This coarse is heavily played and yet stays in execellent condition! They maintain their fairways well. CopperTop has huge greens that roll true. The greens also are hard to stick and have multiple levels, a true challenge. Tee boxes are good! If you haven't made it out here, try to get a round in before summer is over. Groupon price around $30 is a excellent deal for this gem.
great value
very good course in all aspects. public course but has country club feeling with all its ameneties. excellent place to play as 4 some or hold an outing of many players. Cherokee at coppertop can do it all.

great course
Condition of course was top notch and on cart GPS and electronic scorecard were awesome no more guessing distance of shots ,lakes ,creeks and sand. Tells you pin location and distance plus distance and slope of front and back of greens course is amazing will definitely be returning a lot
Decent if you can get a deal
I enjoyed about 14 holes of this course. The rest were terrible due to their layout. There were several forced layups that made absolutely no sense from a course design standpoint. It provided no flow to your round. Conditions were average and the course was in pretty good shape. It was nice having the in-cart GPS. I used my handheld Leupold a couple times to check and the cart was spot on.
Bottom line: If you can get this for a discount, definitely check it out. Otherwise, this course is average at best for the price.
Coppertop is awesome!
Very nice course. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Very challenging. I loved it.
