Worth the ride
Took a ride to Vermilion to play Willow Creek and was pleasantly surprised to find the nicest greens I've seen in years. The manager, Mike, obviously knows what he's doing and I'd recommend checking out the course to see the fruits of his labors. The $60 courses should send a rep to see how it's done.
Sandless Golf
Nice course, greens wee in great shape. No sans traps but easy to get into trouble with some water and by hitting into the trees.
Very Disappointing...
Reserved a Sunday mid-morning tee time...got there and driving range was closed, one person at desk and no-one else in sight. Were told there were "no balls available because we don't have anyone to pick them up". Okay...Course was hard as a rock and very little maintenance if any. Greens with bare spots in many areas; disappointing overall because you'd never know it from their website.
Fun course!
This was our first time playing the course! We had a really fun time. It was really hot and there was plenty of shade. The greens were very clean and played very well. I would definitely play this course again.
Sunday at Willow
I've played here many times. We must have just hit the perfect storm and teed off after a few really slow foursomes. But the course was pretty busy so no playing through. Greens were in really good shape
Great inexpensive coarse
The coarse was a little wet, which is expected in the spring. This was our 1st time playing it, and it is a great, inexpensive coarse. The staff was great too!
