Improving every time
The course is in a consistent improvement mode. I only play once or twice a year over the last three years, and every time it is a little bit improved over the time before. Keep it going!
Terrible pace of play
This was my first time at this course. I was pleased with the conditions of the course however, the pace of play was just so bad. 20 minutes waiting time just to tee off each and every hole. There were a lot of walkers on the course and would not let cart players play through. Nobody was playing ready golf or seemed to understand proper etiquette. 3 hours for 9 holes and I just ended up quitting and only playing 9, but I paid for 18. Over crowded course.
Tee times scheduled too close together
Tee times are booked way too close together. We had 2 foursomes in front of us and we’re waiting 20 minutes between each hole to tee off. The pace of play is not well monitored as we watched someone take 4 mulligan tee shots while there was a line of people waiting to tee off (and there was a line of 2 foursomes behind them, including us).
Also, the holes are way too close together. We had balls flying at us from both sides at one point and people drive their cart into the next fairway and play their ball while you’re trying to tee off or hit your ball.
This wasn’t the greatest experience and my husband and I will not play here again.
PAIRED UP WITH UNFRIENDLY 3-SOME, LEFT AFTER PLAYING ONLY HOLE #1.
Plenty of carts and wanted to drive myself, but starter wanted to pair me up. Only played the first hole when the guy wanted a different cart and called the clubhouse who brought another cart. I was putting my clubs on the new cart when the guy drove away and my clubs fell on the ground. Had the starter take me back to clubhouse. LEFT AFTER PLAYING ONLY HOLE 1. NOT COMING BACK UNLESS I CAN DRIVE MY OWN CART!!!! WOULD NOT GIVE ME A RAIN CHECK AS I HAD PURCHASED A "HOT DEAL" FROM GOLFNOW.
Pine Valley GC- Ohio
Course is good shape. Really has improved under new mgmt & ownership. Like the way aprons approaching greens are mowed. Added some longer BLUE tees. Greens are really good shape.
Great Place
This course may have the friendliness staff in Northeast Ohio. They have a young kid in charge that is just awesome. Well spoken, super respectful and every staff member is awesome. They also have new gps carts and are handicap accessible. This course is very underrated and I recommend it to everyone. It’s nice to actually play at a course where you feel appreciated
Great experience at Pine Valley!
I played on Saturday morning and much to my surprise I had a great time at Pine Valley. I had not played here in many years and the course is not even close to the way I remembered it. I played in less than 4 hours on a packed course, the Greens rolled phenomenal, the fairways were kept short, and the carts with GPS were a great touch. For the price, this was a great value. Definitely will be playing this course many times in the future. I am so glad to see a course so close to home being brought back into great shape.
Great course for beginners
First time playing here. Course was in great conditions. The holes are pretty straightforward. A few dog lags and ponds. Pace of play that day was slow. Took two and half hours to complete front 9. I would play again.
