Good Value
For the price, I love coming here. Close to home and a tricky few holes that make you really use course management.
Great Course
This was my first time playing here and what a great course. First, the new GM is a nice young man who cares not only about the course, pace of play, and the customer. Super friendly young man who brings value to the course. Secondly the course is in great shape with the rough being medium height, greens very pure and good roll. The best part of the course is you can drive a couple greens if you can hit it long, or play smart and use an iron of the tee without getting punished. The GM said they are getting gps carts and making more improvements which will make this place one of the best values for your money!!!! Great time, great staff, great pace of play! Really enjoyed it.
Overall, course has really improved. Greens are cut higher and are slower than most public courses; however, much faster than in the past. Pace of play and value were good to excellent. Just realized that a driving range was added . I will certainly come back in the future.
Death Valley
Pine Valley. Great Track. The pace of play was fantastic, with no one behind us or in front of us on the back nine. A couple of young bucks started in front of us in the front, but they scurried away after they saw one of us bare-chested on the tee box. The greens were in good shape, but the rest of the course was as dry as your grandma's cornbread baking at 350* on a Sunday morning. Nevertheless, a great round at Pine Valley.
The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it in. The greens were great!! I played there every weekend about 15 years ago. It was always wet and the greens were always in bad shape. I would recommend playing here.
Boring course and poor maintenance
Most of the holes are the same in looks, feel, and layout.
Terrane is flat, no thrill and no fun no challenges.
Course condition is the worst we have seen from poor maintenance, green not mowed, fairway full of mud and water, bunkers like rocks.
Not going back there.
Fun layout!
Played fall golf, so course conditions were as expected. Greens were very fast after a recent aeration and roll. Fairways were nice. Tee boxes were rough, but as expected during November in Ohio! Would play again!
Friendly staff, great course layout, the only thing that was wrong was the pace. To many big groups back to back. Over all experience was nice. I will play there again
If you haven't played Pine Valley in awhile, it's time to go back!
I'm originally from Wadsworth so this was my hometown course 10-15 years ago. We weren't very good back then so we didn't golf any nice courses. That being said, this course is under new ownership now and has made a lot of progress improving this course. It is in the best shape I've ever seen it so I really commend them on that. With a cheaper course like this, the grass tends to be a little longer everywhere and this course is no different so the fairways aren't cut as low and the greens are slower. They've done a good job of keeping the rough on the shorter side though so you aren't losing balls in it. It's not the same Pine Valley so if you haven't tried it in awhile, give it another shot. With the current state of golf courses in the area, I'd much rather pay $35 for Pine Valley then pay $55 for an intermediate course. I've golfed a lot of those intermediate courses this year, and their level of maintenance/care has only gone down.
