Pine Valley Golf Club

First Time at Pine Valley, and wow where do I start. The conditions were pretty good, tee boxes and greens were fantastic. The fairways were pretty swampy on some holes, and I’m pretty sure Shrek isn’t a permanent resident. The layout was great and the facilities/ staff was awesome! The only big negative was the pace. It wasn’t abysmal, but it looked like the group in front of us was trying to hit a marble with a garden stake most of the time. I mean it looked like I was one of the better players on the course, and that’s saying something because I played like crap. Anyway, will have to give this course another shot sometime soon!

I have played this course a few times in the past few years, but have been reluctant to go back because the tee boxes and fairways were in rough condition. Also, the greens were cut high and were more like carpet than a putting surface. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fine condition of the overall course, especially the greens, as they were cut lower and were much faster than in previous years. Also, many dead trees have been removed from the course that Help open up the fairways. I will be back as I really enjoyed the round, as it was reasonably priced and pace of play was good too. I was able to finish 18 with a friend in about 3.5 hours.

Last summer the course was in bad shape however this year it’s night and day difference. New owners took it over two years ago and they have put a lot of work into it. All the complaints from last summers reviews are pretty much all handled. Owners are super friendly. Things are maintained properly now. Always can find a tee time here.

Interesting layout. Very playable. Staff is very nice.

This course for even super late in the year was excellently maintained. I definitely got my money’s worth playing here and will definitely be coming back to play again. If you want to play a good local course then I would highly recommend this one.

There was actually a 6some on the course and several 5somes.

Used to play the course a lot. Then the first new ownership was terrible. The r cent owners seem to be trying. But pace of play and fairway condition will keep me from ever coming back.

Reading some of these reviews it’s like people played this course on acid. Terrible shape

They do not have fairways just rough and shorter rough. Overall in really bad condition. Greens and tee boxes were ok. Traps were a mess

I went with two friends, one being a very new golfer. The holes are relatively short and narrow but it’s a beautiful place. All of the people both customers and employees seemed really nice and laid back, I would definitely recommend this course if you’re looking for a nice casual place to play.

The reviews I read were all over the place but I decided to try it out anyway. Greens were actually ok. Everything else was rough. Fairway were not kept up. Tee boxes were hard. Couldnt tell fairway from rough most places. A few holes had a nice layout but not enough to intice me to go back.

Good course. Michael the owner was awesome. Had some trouble with scheduling that he handled and was able to play. Liked it so much I played 27. Good little track. Thanks
