About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Pretty good overall
Only complaint was the pace behind us. We went off at 710 am as a threesome. The 720 was a single, so we let him out shah of us at 705. Then 730 was on its right away. I wish they would've held them off until at b least 720. We play pretty fast genealogy, but it was uneasy because the grounds crew was on the border ahead of us too. There were several times we had to wait to hit and the guys made the front 9 really uncomfortable.
But the course looks great. And the greens were in tip top shape. Hope they get the clubhouse started soon. Would play again.
Course is in Excellent condition
I stayed away from Beckett in the past as the condition of the course had gone downhill. The new management has completely turned this course around. Greens and fairways are in great condition. Pace of play is solid. Now by far one of my favorite courses to play. If you haven’t checked it out in awhile I suggest heading over there
Greens are great
I’ve played Beckett many times but it has been several years since my last visit. I was surprised the clubhouse was missing and the pro shop was a camper, but that didn’t hinder our experience at all. They will be building a new clubhouse soon.
Course was in good shape, good layout, with great greens. Good course for the money.
Amazing improvement
The new owners and staff have a steadfast commitment to creating a great golf course and that's immediately evident by the condition of the holes on both fairways and greens. If you play early, the roll pure before others leave divots from approach shots. Landing outside of fairway can be 50/50 depending on how well it's maintained. Hard job for the grounds crew to patch up damage from unaware players. Challenging course with rewarding aggressive shots and damaging from misses.

Amazing layout. Tough course form the back tees, plays much longer than yardage on the scorecard. The new owner is doing a great job trying to restore the course. Was very happy with the price, condition, pace of play and friendliness of the staff.

Really enjoy playing at Beckett Ridge. Played there for the 1st time about 3 years ago. I've played about 6 to 8 rounds there each year since. They've done a lot of updates in the last 3 years. The course is looking better and better each time with the new management. I am about a 15 handicap and find the course challenging and fair.
