About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Course Flow
We were approached by the course ranger who told us we were playing “too slow” by the group behind us. I know for a fact we were not playing too slow and thought it was absolutely ridiculous any of that even happened. It ruined our experience to be pretty much called “not good enough golfers” and will probably never be back.

Making Great Progress
Played here for the first time and all I can say is wow. Looks like the new owner is really making strides to have a premier course. Even in December the greens were amazing and extremely fun to play. Plenty of par 5’s to keep it challenging. Will definitely be back.

It’ll be a few years before the amenities are back, but the course is in good shape. Well worth the money!

The cart paths are in pretty rough shape and clubhouse currently closed/under construction during comeback efforts. Those 2 remedied add another star ish

Course is in great condition
New owner did great job to transfer this beautifully layout course to great condition. Bunkers are real bunkers and can be played as bunker play. Green is true and maintained well. Play pace is little slow on Saturday morning. Will play again.

Beckett is Back
Our foursome was very impressed with all the improvements the new owners have made. We had not played Beckett for several years because the conditions had become so bad. But the recent reviews we read are correct - the new owners have invested a lot, and the course is in really good condition - the fairways were plush and the greens were fast and smooth. They filled in a few of the bunkers and the ones remaining are all filled with nice new sand. Even the carts were in really nice. We were so pleased, that we booked a tee time for next week before we left.
