About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Coming along
Course was in very good condition. No sand in the bunkers yet, was told they will fill those in the spring. Played earlier in the spring and Course was in far worse condition. Looks like they’re starting to put effort and time into the course to bring it back to its old self. Will definitely play again and would recommend it

Major improvement made
Last time I played here it was terrible. Now just a few months later what a change. Greens and fairways were excellent. They are redoing all the bunkers and when they are done this place will be back to being a great course.

November Treat
Took advantage of the unusually good weather to try Beckett Ridge again.
The new management is trying to salvage the mess left from the previous ownership and are gradually making improvements.
Greens and fairways are in good shape, and they are now redoing all the sand traps.
The layout and value is worth playing this course again while they try to reestablish it as a good course again.

Great course making a huge comback
This is definitely a course I will be back to. The staff was extremely friendly, and shared a lot of the progress on the investment in getting this course back to its former glory. The layout is great, the holes are challenging but the fairways are wide and forgiving. The course pro was a fantastic ambassador for the course, and we greatly enjoyed speaking with him in the morning, as we were slightly delayed by the frost in the AM. Truly the only negatives were 1) we were cart paths only, which we were more than happy to accommodate after hearing about all the work they had done on the course and 2) the clubhouse has been condemned so we they are currently working out of a temporary clubhouse until they rebuild. Again, cant say enough about how great this experience was. The greens were in perfect condition as were nearly all the fairways.

This course has been much improved under new management
I usually don't write review for the courses I have played, but this is my second review for this course. I really like the layout of this course. The fairways & Greens are still in very good shape at this time of the year. The staff are very friendly. The pace of play is excellent (I finished my round in just about 3.5 hours today). They just bought nice new carts (Yamaha), The bunkers will be renovated beginning November 1st. Looks like the new management is putting a lot of effort to make the course greater again !

Outstanding day!
It’s easy to write a positive review when you play well, but no matter what I would’ve enjoyed the course. There’s no doubt you need to bring accuracy when playing, but with the gorgeous fall scenery on most holes it’s tough to be angry. The staff was outstanding. I couldn’t have felt more welcome. I was even a bit behind on my tee time due to talking with them for so long. I will absolutely be back!

Beckett ridge
got there, they had no record of my golf now reservation. i showed the manager my reservation on my phone. He let me play. other than problems again with golf now. it was a fun day. teamed up with Marcus, we played in a little over 3 hours. they were working on some tee boxes so a couple of holes we played as a par 3

A good day!
We made a last minute tee time for Sunday morning. The guy that checked us in and the starter was very friendly. Both told us of all the upcoming changes and future plans for the couse under the new owner. Course is a little rough but it was still a fun day. Love the layout. Can’t wait to go back next season and watch the progression of progress.

Great Value
Excellent layout - fun to play. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great condition. You can see effort being put into bringing the course back to its glory days.

Need to upgrade and maintain
The course was one of the wonderful courses in Cincinnati. However, the course has been poorly managed. We cannot access a normal restroom. The bunkers are full of weeds. The day I played, aeration was applied, so we cannot play such holes. We did not get any pre-notice of the condition.

First time at this course this year. In my opinion, the course is in good conditions, except for the bunks (I think they are under repairs ). There are a few bare spots on fairways . The greens are all in good shape. The staff are very friendly. I finished the round in just a little bit over 3 hours. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful course treated badly
Shame on the owners of this course. I've played it over the past 10 years. It used to be beautiful. Now is has fallen into disrepair. So called sand traps are bare earth and weeds. Speaking of weeks, check out the fairways... nice specimens that any botanist would love.
I understand new owners may be making changes. Here is hoping that is true. It's going to require quite an investment.
I won't play this course again unless it is an incredible deal... like $15. Otherwise, there are plenty of better courses in the area.
Having said all this, I'm rooting for the new owners to make this the premier course it could be.

Beckett Ridge Country Club was closed in October of last year. A new owner purchased the course in March and reopened on Memorial weekend of this year. Purse needs work
The course is rough due to weather conditions and COViD. I give the owners credit, you can tell they are putting the effort into getting it back to better conditions. Give it 2 more years.

What was once a great track
club house is completely closed (water and mold damage). Front 9 is in bad shape and all 18 holes traps are void of sand and full of grass and weeds. Extensive renovation underway and the back 9 is a little better, but id give thema couple years before considering playing it again.
