About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Beautiful course treated badly
Shame on the owners of this course. I've played it over the past 10 years. It used to be beautiful. Now is has fallen into disrepair. So called sand traps are bare earth and weeds. Speaking of weeks, check out the fairways... nice specimens that any botanist would love.
I understand new owners may be making changes. Here is hoping that is true. It's going to require quite an investment.
I won't play this course again unless it is an incredible deal... like $15. Otherwise, there are plenty of better courses in the area.
Having said all this, I'm rooting for the new owners to make this the premier course it could be.

Beckett Ridge Country Club was closed in October of last year. A new owner purchased the course in March and reopened on Memorial weekend of this year. We have worked incredibly hard to bring the golf course back from being closed completely for over 8 months to where it is today. Purse needs work
The course is rough due to weather conditions and COViD. I give the owners credit, you can tell they are putting the effort into getting it back to better conditions. Give it 2 more years.

What was once a great track
club house is completely closed (water and mold damage). Front 9 is in bad shape and all 18 holes traps are void of sand and full of grass and weeds. Extensive renovation underway and the back 9 is a little better, but id give thema couple years before considering playing it again.

Nice course but not well maintained, bunkers are being redone and two par 4 holes had temporary tees that made them Par 3’s.

Beckett ridge
Beautiful course and friendly staff, under newer management so as expected there are some changes in the process of being made (bunker renovation later in the fall)
Lots of hills and houses around, very nice place though. Will definitely play again!

Warning during COVID
Course is currently in par shape. Bunkers are filled with crab grass.
I played as a single in the morning with a 3 sum. During COVID, they are still only letting two carts go out per time, which no one was pleased about. Was told that only 50 carts were owned and they couldn’t afford to have two single riders and didn’t even acknowledge my covid comment. Was promised a 9 hole rain check but never received.

Nice layout, needs a little TLC
This is a challenging course with a great layout. The course and facilities have seen better days, but the current owners have come a long way just in the past few months returning the course to its' former glory. Tee's, fairways and greens are in decent shape, and they are beginning work on the bunkers and dead tree removal. Even in it's present condition, it is a good deal.

The Couse used to be awesome. It has gone down hill. I am hopeful that the new owners really restore it to what it used to be. Staff is super friendly.

Unkept grounds, rude staff, waste of money
This course was a huge waste of money. No sand in the traps, lots of over growth. Course is just not kept up nice. Horrible food options and nothing available at turn.
Staff was rude. Front 9 was 2 hours and 4 minutes and they yelled about pace of play and said we had to SKIP hole 10 at the turn. We were easily on pace.
This course will be bankrupt soon.
