About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Great Course for the Money
Great course for the money. Would love to see them rebuild clubhouse since it’s been down all season but it’s a fun course all together.

Making it work
The course was in great shape, with the exception of the majority of bunkers being under repair. The clubhouse is closed but their operating out of a trailer, which is actually a positive during the pandemic because you don’t need to go inside.

Beckett Ridge
Decent layout, coming back from being closed for awhile. Once it’s completely repaired and groomed, it should be good. Didn’t like having to drive carts over busy roads several times.

wonderful course
The course was a wonderful course in Cincinnati. However, recently the course has been managed very poorly. There are several empty spots that filled with weeds. Sand trap turned into a weed filed.

Nice on Mondays
I did not play here years ago like some other reviewers, so what I see today is a challenging course, with a nice layout and if you don’t care much for off course amenities and can come during weekdays, you will have a fun, no-wait round of 18.

poor choice for seniors
Refused seperate carts. Employees at entrance w/o maskes. only nport-a-potties far away. Rude golf pro. Senoirs beware!

Good course - fairways and sand trap issues
Nice course layout, unfortunately some fairways in rough condition. All sand traps were played as under repair because they are unplayable.

Run down
Club house was condemned after the old owner turned off the heat in the winter and let the pipes burst. Sand traps all have weeds growing all over them. No sand or seed to repair holes. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but this was rough.

The course needs a lot of work
The course is under new ownership and I can tell they’re trying to get everything up to par but the truth is that it’s going to take some time and a lot of money. Today when I played, I received one of the Hot Deals for $19 and the first time I plaid it was $30+. For the condition of this course that’s too high! Yes the course is playable but the bunkers are overgrown with grass and weeds. The tee boxes need work as well. Will I play this course again? Yes I will... It’s close and again like I said it’s playable but I will only play for $20 or less!

Poor Management
A little dumpy for what you pay for. It was once a country club and now has overgrown sand traps and the fairways are not well kept in the slightest. Hate to be so harsh but this place is a rip for what you're paying.

There isn't a public golf course in the area not struggling this year to keep all their turf alive let alone green. Needs to be re done
It has been some time since I played here and I am saddened by the way that this course has turned. The club house is closed and they work out of a broken trailer!! The cart paths are horrible and the fairways and tee boxes have weeds on them and are over grown. The trees and bushes need to be cut back and the sand, well it’s just mud and weeds! The staff was not very friendly and the grounds crew kept cutting and riding through the fairway as we played! The carts we had didn’t have an emergency brake so we had to find a log or rock to keep them from rolling! The fees were too expensive for what we got!

A new owner purchased the course in March and reopened on Memorial weekend of this year. Our fairways are in excellent condition, and please keep in mind we have had less than an inch of rain in the past 45 days. BRGC
First time out this year and just a weekend golfer. Sand traps were in all purposes deactivated...but the staff owned it and said the owners are renovating the course. Club house is shut down as well. Tee boxes and greens were fine with me. Blind shots, rolling hills, going over water were all shots today. Honestly, would go again and definitely looking forward to the improvements in the future.

I would consider playing this course for $5, nothing more
Staff was not approachable. Went to pick my cart up from the “mobile” club house and two staff members were sitting in the golf carts. While walking up, I was totally confused on where to go. No one offered to help until I asked if this is where I was to check in. Course is complete crap. First appearance driving in I noticed a bunker completely overgrown with weeds and grass. I thought maybe they were trying to fill it to get rid of it.... no, all bunkers were like that with the exception of the 10th hole. If you miss the fairway, kiss your ball goodbye, it’s all dirt and the ball does not stop. While playing, they sprayed the greens with blue fertilizer, turning your ball, clubs and shoes blue. Went to return my cart and staff asked me ( in a “Get out of my face” tone) how it was. Had a lot to say but, they clearly don’t care. This place needs to be shut down, or lower the price to $5 for 18 holes.

Terrible Course
Terrible course in terrible condition. The clubhouse is condemned and they operate out of a camper. The fairways, tee boxes and bunkers were full of dirt and weeds. They sprayed blue liquid fertilizer all over the course which also turned my white golf shoes blue. It is very clear that they are doing the bare minimum to keep the course open for business. Overall not a good experience and would not recommend this course to anyone.

Resurrected
I had played Beckett Ridge a few times but it had been more than two years since the last time. I have always found it to be a nice course and a good value. What I didn't realize is that the clubhouse was condemned! SO that was pretty weird when we drove up and saw the "pro shop" was a trailer with a canopy. That said, the new staff was very friendly and it sounds like a new owner is putting money back into the facility. As far as the golf goes, the greens were immaculate! The tee boxes and fairways were fine and the only bit of course work that still needs attention are the bunkers (no sand, just weeds and grass). I'm rooting for Beckett Ridge to make a full fledged comeback!

Wow! What happened to this place?
This is the worst golf course, condition wise, I have played in the Tri state. It has been completely let go. The rough is either high or dead and full of weeds and clover. The bunkers are overgrown with grass and unplayable. The greens are in bad shape, cut too high and dead in places. The cart paths are the worst I’ve seen anywhere. It’s way over priced at $33. This used to be a private club back in the day. It would opt not to play rather than play here for free if given the option.
