Hickory Flat Greens Golf Course

Everything was excellent. The only area that could improve new golfers to the course is to have the same format as the front nine with labeling each hole. There were 3 holes we did not know where to go and nothing was labeled. People who regularly golfed helped us find the tee box when we were golfing.

Scheduled a tee time but the course was holding a tournament when I showed up. Shouldn't have allowed me t book a tee time.

Booked a tee time for my friend and I 8/27 for the morning of 9/3. Showed up to the course and was told we have to leave because the course had an outing later in the morning. Absolutely terrible clubhouse staff that spoke to us, rude and offered no help in resolving the problem. They also could’ve contacted GolfNow or myself the week prior to the tee time to inform us that we couldn’t actually play. So they don’t take the time to update their available tee times nor do they reach out to try to fix the issue before the day of. If they had done this, we could’ve booked somewhere else. Will never go try to play here nor should anyone else. Plenty of better courses around the area to try.

Great value. Course is in good shape, nothing fancy but fair and challenging.

Haven't played the course in 20 years before today. Course has been well maintained. Keep up the good work.

It is a good course, I didn't like students with the golf instructor come across and jumped in front of our group everything was fine before that. They was slow didn't care who you they was holding up. But the staff was great the food is good,the course was in great condition, overall it was a real good time. Bring your own beer they do not sell any at the course.

Good bang for the buck, but slow senior golfers will not let you play through

Ole Hickory seems to surprise us time and time again. The Flats were so good to us this time, I thought I was dreaming. The overall course was in immaculate shape, with a great deal of care and detail-oriented care. The hot dogs at the turn were so good, they make you want to tear up and cry. Ole Hickory Flats will have to be visited again soon...

First of all, The Course was soaked like a sponge in a bathtub. Half of the bunkers were converted into swimming pools for the local squirrels. However, the tee boxes and greens were in great condition. The way we were playing, that’s all we needed. The pace of play was great, especially for a packed crowd on a December day. We will see the flats again next season.

Still a little wet after heavy weekend rains. Some Standing water and mushy in spots but very playable.

One of my favorite local courses

Played this course for the first time in late October. Greens had holes punched and were slow and bumpy. Every course I’ve ever played they do that at the end of September at the latest! Layout is bland. You get what you pay for I guess. Go down the road to River Greens!
