Enjoyable Course
The course was cart path only due to rain! It played a little slower than normal due to the wet conditions! My boys from Edmond came over for the first time to play this course. Happy to say that they all enjoyed their first time at Battle Creek!
TLC
Just rained and some spots needed mowing and bare ground on some fairways and greens.
Best condition
Everyone at Battle Creek has done a phenomenal job at creating a great experience all around. Out of all of the courses in the area that I’ve played this season Battle Creek is in the best condition. Will be returning to play again soon.
Great course
I am traveling from northern Virginia and decided to play around at Battle Creek. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating course was in great shape. I was hesitant because of the previous comment about the sand on the greens, but let me be the first to say that whatever they did with the sand must have worked like a charm. Those greens or so plush that I thought I may have to take my shoes off to walk on them. They rode a little slow, but they were in amazing shape. The only negative wise the cartpath only rule on the first two par fives. Those two holes slowed the pace of play. Love the layout and love this course. I highly recommend a visit if ever in Tulsa.
Way too much sand on the greens!!!
Greens had just been aerated and so much sand piled up on the greens. Never seen as much sand used for this process by any other course, but for some reason Battle Creek just piles it on. Will be weeks before greens are back to even close to normal. Would have been nice to be notified before booking, would’ve definitely gone somewhere else.
Staff is always great
Staff does a great job here and greens are pretty consistently good.
Great value
We were in Tulsa on business and played an outing on a much more expensive course. I would compare this course as just as nice if not nicer.
Challenge course
Overall the course in great shape, but Cart Path Only one quiet a few holes is somewhat disappointing but this course holds so much water it's understandable. However, it seems to always be the same areas under repair every year. Maybe try something different. Still best value public course in and around Broken Arrow.
