Nice Course!
Greens were in pretty good shape, the reviews I saw from a month ago said they were in pretty bad shape, so I was happily surprised to see them in good shape. The course had a fun layout, lots of dogleg rights, so slicers paradise.
It's one of the courses where houses line both sides of the fairway for 80% of the course, so say a prayer if you're not dialed in. (I did hit a ball in somebodies back yard, the guy came out and threw my ball 20 yards up in the middle of the fairway... angles are real...)
It was a pretty toasty day, and they don't offer water on the course except at the club house so that wasn't great, but pretty nice shop and friendly employees. Also, nice new carts.
Needs work
The course has the potential to be a very good course. It has got some really unique holes, and the number 3 par 3 is a picturesque hole. I love that hole. However, the greens have large areas they are in extremely bad shape, some even have holes about 2 feet in diameter and areas that are sunken that are larger, hence the needs work title. For what you get I’d say the price to play is too high. Unless I get a discount, like I did today I wouldn’t play this course. It really could be a very nice course, right now it just isn’t up to par.
Not worth full price.
Full price with cart was $53. Several of the greens had large areas that were in very bad shape making it difficult to putt. Some fairways were like hitting off concrete. Was disappointed in the conditions considering the price.
Great course to play
It’s a privilege, course speed is pretty quick and layout is great, have some pretty severe doglegs which are fun.
Highly recommend it here. Golf carts also have tracking and yardage.
Worst Golf Course in OK
This is by far the worst course In OK. $44 for 9 holes. 7:40 tee time still hadn’t gone off at 7:58 with no delays.
Greens are in terrible condition. Literally missing chunks out of the greens. That was on several holes.
MOWERS
I had to play with the mowers on my fairway on holes 8-12. It was very distracting. Other than that it was a perfect day.
Much better
The course was so much better then the last few yrs when the course was open but almost unplayable. Only complaint was a few greens on back 9 were in poor shape. Rough was to high on spots. The new golf carts were amazing but restricted on where u can drive to look for ur balls. .
Poor greens and rough
Mid summer golf here. Greens were very slow, mix of dirt patches and grass of more than half of the holes. They tried spraying greens green but even that wasn’t sprayed evenly and was sometimes off the side of the actual green.
I liked the layout a lot - first time playing here - but the greens were no good.
The only other thing amiss, maybe only affecting me ;), was that everything outside the fairway was about 3-4 inches longer than normal rough, and length was inconsistently cut. Quite a few balls lost just off the fairway.
Overall, I would maybe try it again in a few years. Not dying to get back out there though.
Greens
A lot of the greens on this course are in terrible shape. One of the par 3 holes on the back makes it impossible to birdy the hole if you land of the green. There’s several holes that make it impossible to put. You literally have to put through either holes in the green or places that are completely missing grass. You have to put through sand.
Greens
The course looked and played amazing. Greens did need a little work. If those are attended to, the course would be one of the best in Oklahoma.
