Fun course
This was a fun course with a few fun risk reward holes. Being my first time here i chose safe but would be rather fun playing a scramble. The course was in good conditions but the greens did have a few trouble areas in them however the greens keeper did a good job with pin locations to avoid these areas. I would 100% play here again.
Poor management
I got yelled at by the assistant Super. Greens are the worse I’ve been on in 15 years. Driving range is an embarrassment. Watched kids hitting into old men. After our 10:40 tee time they didn’t have any carts left. A couple of nice guys in the club house had to wait on people to get finished. I won’t ever go back! Pay more attention to the greens!
Average
I had a pleasant experience with the staff and other golfers. The course was in decent shape overall. The pace of play was super slow. I attribute this to over scheduling. The course was backed up the whole time I played. I asked the group ahead of me when their tee time was and it turned out to be the same as mine. That's ridiculous. It's not very fun to play 18 holes waiting on the group in front of you, and trying to hurry ahead of the group behind you.
Greens failed this course
Course was in good shape, however greens had multiple rough spots that affected ball roll.
Not the best experience
I was in town for a visit and had a narrow window to book and this was the only course available, it was a decent day of golf. If you like rude clubhouse employees and you don’t mind poorly kept greens and fairways it’s definitely the course for you.
The course has great potential with the layout and they were so busy, they’re obviously are making some money but not spending it on improvements to the course.
Unfriendly staff
The course isn't terrible for a public course. I actually like it and have played multiple times. Unfortunately the staff makes this the last time I'll play here or recommend Heritage Hills to anyone else. The first few times I thought they might just be having a bad day. They weren't rude but I felt like I was bothering them just paying for our round. They did not want to be there. This last time they stepped up their game and were actually rude. Most pro shops are super friendly. This one isn't. The kids helping around the clubhouse were nice. Just the older gentlemen inside were rude.
