OLD FRIENDS
The course was in pretty good shape, just little things not so kept up. Some greens were eaten up. Fairways were good. Some of the nicest folks ya will ever find. It's a driver's course, nice layout. Hit the ball straight- ya can score.
Great value. Great staff. Great course.
Very nice round. Not busy, so excellent pace of play. Courteous staff. Would definitely recommend.
Good course. Good people. Great price and location.
Fun challenging course
Fun course with absolutely amazing pace of play, me and 2 friends finished in 4 hrs on a Saturday morning and we stopped for a quick bite at the turn. Some of the greens were a little dead on the edges and a few tee boxes were a slightly overgrown but overall the course was in good shape. There’s lots of water and tree lined fairways. Seemed to play a lot tougher than the course/slope ratings. I’d definitely recommend this course for people in OKC who don’t mind driving a few minutes for a quick round.
A Gem in the OKC Area
Second time playing this course (18 holes). Very Affordable. Nice clubhouse. Friendly staff. Most importantly, great layout. Challenging course. Loved it. Greens rolled true. Fairways decent condition. 4 hr round with a 10 min break at the turn. Came back after the first time playing. Will return!!
Doodle
Had a wonderful day. Really enjoyed the course! In great shape.
Great value north of OKC
Fun and challenging course (long par 5s with water hazards) that will make for a fun 18 holes for any player at any skill level. Very nice staff and good/inexpensive food at the Sand Trap bar/grill. Great local course!
Oklahoma wind
Challenging course. I like the layout, and the way the trees shape the course. Needed to be mowed blame that mostly on the rain. The greens were really slow and had damaged spots, but if they have been able to be mowed theywould be a lot better. Fun day though will definitely back.
Challenging & Fun
Greens were in great shape. The fairways good. Water on a few holes present a challenge. Especially the 16th. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hidden Gem
A good 30 minutes away from OKC but worth the drive. My favorite course to play by far! Plays a bit long compared to a lot of courses around the city but always pristine condition. Great conditions, clean, well kept and greens always in fantastic shape.
Nice and pretty challenge course. A lot of water hazard.
Beautiful and Tough Course
Very pretty with lots of trees and LOTS of water. But no sand which is awesome. Fairways are tight and very challenging. The greens are in rough condition right now and some of the Fairways could be mowed a little more. But overall, not horrible. I think it's much harder than Aqua Canyon, it's sister course because it's not as open as Aqua and it has much more water hazards than Aqua which is ironic due to the name of the other course.
What do we expect for late July?
This is not the closest or most convenient course for me. So I've only played it a couple of times this year. Ordinarily, even at the best courses, at this time of year we experience hard and dry fairways. But this trip they were green like late spring. Tee boxes were fantastic. Roughs were mowed properly too. Greens were soft and fast; although there were more canker spots than ideal. It was a really hot day but we got out semi early Just in time to finish before the real heat set in. Pretty much had the course to ourselves.
Decent for the money
Course sparse in places. Fairways so so. Green alright but very slow and patchy in places. Bit of a drive from OKC for this course in future but was nice to play once.
