Notification of aeration should be clear especially if the cost is going to the same as if the course was in mid-season condition.

Beautiful
Great rate of play, with incredible views of the NYC skyline. Highly recommend for business or general enjoyment. The staff is extremely helpful, especially in the pro shop. The course is maintained extremely well, and the greens are not too fast not too slow! Every single time I’ve played here has been an excellent experience and I will always come back.

My Favorite Course in NY
I’ve been playing NYCC for years and I love how they are constantly improving the course. The greens are great, I love the layout and the new improvements to the clubhouse make the 19th hole even more enjoyable! The staff at NYCC are welcoming and very professional. Highly recommend!

This course is a lot of fun
I've been playing there for many years the staff is great, finally joined this year. The course is in great shape the greens are coming in nicely.

I have been playing at this course for twenty years. It is my favorite course in the entire tristate area. The course is very scenic and filled with holes that are both challenging and score-able.
It is a great track, but what makes it really special are the people who run and operate it. It is more than just a business to them, they are truly good people who want to give each of their customers the best experience possible. Ask for Garret, he is as good as they come!
Also, be sure to check out the food in the clubhouse. They just updated their menu and it is amazing. Could not recommend this place more!

Absolutely Incredible Course
NYCC is by far the best course in the area. The course plays beautifully and the people there are even better. Garret and Seth do a great job running the club and I'm so happy to bring my business there.

Way Overpriced
This course should not cost $120 to play on the weekend. There are courses in the area for half that with much better conditions. Food isn't great and I've never seen a cart girl there. Conditions are comparable to Rockland Lake and double the price..

Aerated greens
The course overall was pretty good, but I wish we had an aerated green warning prior to booking and/or had a discounted rate due to aerating the greens. Pace of play could have been better, the round was almost a 5 hour round.

New York Country Club
The greens were horrible, recently aerated and topped with heavy sand. This was not noted when booked and I would not have played there if I knew this. I believe the normal greens fees were discounted due to the green conditions. Fun course otherwise, will play again in a couple months to see how the greens are after they recover. Course is a little rough around the edges but it looks like they are in a state of renovation in the clubhouse and the grounds so will be interesting to see how this track transforms with the effort.

We work hard to maintain the course for everyone's benefit, which means aerifying the greens as part of our regular maintenance schedule. The greens will be healed soon and in pristine condition. Gone downhill
I used to love playing here. Course conditions were always solid for a public course. Greens would roll very nice. Layout is fun. Ranger would be out in the course keeping things moving. Since they installed new management things seem to become worse. Rounds are longer and don’t see a ranger unless I call them to complain. The driving range mats need to be changed. It’s like hitting off of concrete with a thin piece of felt on top. Hard to judge course conditions bc it’s still winter and the greens had just been punched. I’m going to give it one last chance once it’s spring time but I won’t put up with a 5 hour round for $100.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course.
