Great course but very slow pace on Sunday afternoons
I love playing this course and have played here over 10 times in 2020. However I had a tee time today at 2:10, I usually play earlier and the round took over 5:20 minutes to play. We had to wait on every hole and there were no rangers speeding up play. Also I saw three men from different foursomes using trees in the open view as “facilities” which I find in very poor taste. In private clubs this would be a reason for suspension. This will not prevent me from going back but I will consider other options in the future.
Ok course
Played on Father's Day for the first time. Check in was good but they rushed us from the range to first tee early. Condition of course was OK. There was a weird abandoned Par 3 hole not being used. Food and drinks were good, cart girl came by fairly often. Tee boxes were a mess and in much need of a repair. This course is about $30 over priced. I've played better for less. Glad I played but probably won't be back.

Quality Course - But - Pace of Play needs to be addressed
This course is a GEM. Rivals most Private and exclusive clubs. The only drawback is the pace of play. Message to Management...Move to 13 min internals vs. 10 min. 5 HR rounds are a complete turnoff..

Slow Pace of Play and Sloping Greens
The round took more than 5 hours and there were too many golfers on the course. The holes are difficult to follow and the rough was too high. We waited on every hole to tee off because of the slow play. The sloping greens made it next to impossible to one putt any hole. The 18th hole is going up a long steep hill with limited views of the green.
Impossible Greens and Slow Pace of Play
Our tee time was delayed because it was ladies club day and there were many NJ ladies playing ahead of us. Every hole we waited on the tee to tee off and waited for them to leave the greens. The round took more than 5 hours, which is unacceptable.
The holes are challenging both because of the layouts and the sloping greens. The greens are fast and the ball never stops even when you hit it. Some holes are cut on a slope so its impossible to get close to the cup.
The staff tried to help with the pace of play but the management allowed too many golfers to go out on the course.

Quality Track
The golf course offers some interesting and unforgettable holes. The track is in excellent condition and rivals most private golf clubs. It offers some challenging holes but overall very fair. I would highly recommend this golf course. I will certainly return and play again. The only drawback was the pace of play, we waited on all 18holes... it took 5 hrs plus to finish our round playing as a 3 some on a Monday morning at 10 am. Advice to management need space out the foursomes.

Excellent round
Very enjoyable course. Tough holes but the whole course was in fantastic condition. Pace of play was pretty fast.
A few dumb holes...
9, 10 and 18 are bad golf holes. Pace was slow, but not unbearable. Course condition was very good!
good layout
Good variety to the layout - lots of interesting holes.
9 and 10 are not my favorites - the rest of the course is very challenging but fair - any handicap will have a good time

Poor service
The course is beautiful, but they have no restrooms, they don’t give individual carts which is required in ny state. No food drinks available, just a poor managed operations in these social distancing times.
Lovely golf though!
Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we do not have enough golf carts to offer 1 per person. We were following other courses practices by allowing 1 rider and 1 walker as opposed to walking only, at least you were able to get both bags on the cart.
I am very happy to report that we have purchased cart dividers so we are now able to allow 2 riders per cart, and the clubhouse is open.
We have always had soft drinks and canned beer as well as snacks available in the pro-shop.
During these very difficult times it is sometimes hard to navigate all of the newly revised guidelines. We are now finally getting back to some sort of normalcy. I do hope to see you up at the club again soon.
Bathroom
I played with a female friend And they would not let her use the bathroom!
Swe9177, our sincere apologies in regard to the use of our restrooms. We were following the states guidelines and keeping our clubhouse closed to all patrons during the Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately that included the restrooms. I am very happy to report that the clubhouse is now open and the restrooms are available.
I do hope to see you back up at the club soon!
Really liked it, would play again
Lots of variety here - hole design kept the round very fun. Course was in fantastic condition, with the exception of a few of the tee boxes. Had a bunch of ant hills and divots.
Also, my cart died on 17. Not the worst thing in the world to walk, but I had a heavy cart bag so meh - so look out for that. If the cart is struggling, call the pro shop.
All in all, you won’t be disappointed. Get in early and avoid the late morning rush

The course is very nice and has a number of picturesque holes that highlight the beauty of NY state
The greens a little inconsistent and could use some work
Sand traps also could use some work and I am sure during the hot months of July and August bugs could be a problem but for late May it was great.
I would certainly recommend it
