For the hot deal price the course was ok.

Conditions are average at best. Grass ok. Tee boxes:poor.

Average conditions for public course. Thought that for a country club course it might have been better.

Greens are still uneven and slow due to Spring aeration.

Course was in a little shabby condition, especially tee boxes. I assume due to lack of maintenance during the shut down. Nice layout but very hilly to walk. My first time playing here, I like the track, Holes are hard but fair.

Some local knowledge is helpful.

All around great experience, from welcoming staff in the parking lot to a truly enjoyable round. The crew at NYCC has done a great job this year opening the course and making us want to come back. I booked a 4some two weeks ago and immediately reserved another 2 4somes for the following weekend at the end of the round. Speaks to the condition of the course and quality of the experience. 5/5

Went to pay with a GolfNow reservation for $80 to walk, but when I arrived, was told that Golfnow charged wrong amount and charge me $90. Most businesses that I know of, including myself would honor pricing for such a small difference. Its called doing the right thing,. and maybe truth in advertising., since it is a vendor that they use for their reservation system.

Nice course, but 9 and 18 were a very tough walk. Backed up on every hole and took over 5 hours to finish round. Greens haven't recovered from aeration and tee boxes in rough shape

Based on current global conditions I was beyond thrilled to get a round of golf in. It was walking only, that made it a bit difficult particularly walking up the hill on the the 9th. Course was in great condition, it had rained overnight, greens were a bit slow. Otherwise the pace was good, golf was fun, course is challenging and very picturesque. Only issue was our foursome had no idea where the 5th hole was located, a bunch of tee boxes set up after the 4th, but turned out to not be the 5th, had to walk up a bit to finally see a sign pointing to the 5th.

Otherwise, great round, which will be made even better when the carts are back out there, will definitely be returning again.

Course layout is tremendous. Course plays longer than appears. Club up on all uphill holes. Walking up 9 and 18 are absolute monsters. Fairways in great shape. Staff does a great job with social distancing and new covid rules. Overall a must play if you love golf and want a true challenge.

Had a wonderful round on what started out as a chilly morning. Garret was simply fantastic. He was very friendly and the whole process was organized incredibly well from the minute I got out of my car, to the first tee, to our goodbye four hours later. The course was in great shape. My only minor quibble was that the greens were a little uneven and still recovering from being punched weeks ago, but I'm sure that is only temporary. I can't wait to get back out on this course.

Golf course was in top condition andbeautiful layout. The staffs were polite, professional, and made our golf experiene very enjoyable. Will definitely come back and recommend to others. Also location is close from major bridges and convenient.

Course was in great condition. Employees enforced new social distancing guidelines well. Play was a bit slow, 5 hour round, probably because it is a tough walking course, especially the hike up 9. Would love to go back and play again.

Playing this past weekend at New York Country Club was a blast and it couldn’t have got any smoother, even with the new policies in place because of the virus. The staff was helpful, inviting and knowledgeable with us from start to finish. The course is in amazing shape even for this early in the season. Can’t wait to come back to the course and would highly recommend to a friend.

I went to play and the course was in great condition I couldn’t complain. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during this tough time it made me feel relaxed, they were also taking precautions such as no entrance to the clubhouse, card only and no touching the flag sticks. I’ve never played here before but I would definitely make the drive again because this is a great course with great staff

Nice course outside of the covid time period wouldn’t walk it 9 and 18 are a mountain climb but as an avid golfer I can’t complain. Course was in great shape good pace for how packed it was.

Played this last Saturday and the staff was on point. Social distancing was a top concern and I felt very comfortable the whole day. Course was in top shape and I will be back here again all year. Cant say enough good things about how the day went. But as i said before...with COVID 19 my biggest concern was social distancing/safety....the course couldnt have made me feel more at ease with everything going on. 5 Stars across the board

New York country club has been my go to course for a while. This comes from the course always being in excellent shape along with its amazing staff. Especially during this covid 19 pandemic, NYCC’s staff has done an exceptional job preparing its golfers for a round of golf by taking proper protocol and enforcing restrictions. Starters and rangers do a fantastic job maintaining the pace of play which creates a great atmosphere for a round of golf. I’ve never left upset from New York County Club and will be returning shortly.

Always in terrific shape, best value for conditions and pace of play. Staff is extra accommodating and makes you feel like you are playing at a private place. Highly recommend playing if willing to make the short 40 minute drive from NYC

I’ve been a member at NYCC for over four years now and wouldn’t want to belong anywhere else. Super staff, management, greens keeper everything! Would recommend to everyone!!
