Golf at Cimmaron Trials Golf Course
I enjoy playing the course. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fun course
The course is in good shape. I've played here many times and it's always fun. Only down side was the group that was in front of us was playing very slow and it took just over 5 hours to play 18. So after the front 9 we made an adjustment and started to have a bit more fun and take a lot more time with our shots.
Great course
I've played this course ever since college and it's always been one of my favorites! Great condition, hole design, and overall experience. Highly recommended!
nice course
Good layout, back nine is tougher. Would like to have a better food selection to pic from. Seem to always find a great price on golfnow .The driving range ball bag is very small maybe 15 balls in a bag. All in all good course to play.
Nice course for price
Some challenging holes, but what make course difficult is size of greens - small, with subtle breaks. Enjoy round, even in strong Oklahoma wind. Would like to play again in late April, early May when course is green.
Great day; poor course management
Course is fun to play, but greens were overdressed and no forewarning was given online or in pro shop. Very few people were on course, but those that were playing were all in one area and play was slowed by a single group.
No marshal was observed trying to relieve the congestion.
Nice Course
Nice course to play, and was my first time to play and was great to play w/ my son and frinends.
Very easy to navigate.
I was able to play at a very moderate pace and enjoyed playing with a couple of other players who joined me.
Great course
The course was in great shape, the only staff member we talked with was very friendly. We got there about an hour early and started playing immediately. It was like a private course round - we only saw two other groups on the course all round.
Well worth the money and the 150 mile round trip.
Very Nice Course! Really Enjoyed It
Our regular foursome wanted a different course to try for a weekend afternoon. Found the deal for the round at Cimarron Trails. We could not have enjoyed the afternoon any more than we did. The course was in perfect shape with tees, fairways, and greens manicured. The greens are on the small side, a couple almost postage stamp, but received the shots well and were extremely fast but true. One of the golf cart's battery died so we called the clubhouse and they brought another cart out to us immediately! Great service! The four of us agreed that this was one of the most enjoyable courses we have played.
Great course away from big city courses
This course is very well maintained. It has many hole layouts that are different than the usual public back and forth boring holes. The water and sand is used just enough to make it challenging and nice looking, without being so challenging that the average player cannot enjoy their round. If their snack bar was open on weekdays, this would be a perfect outing.
Overall, better than most courses in this area.
Fairways in good shape! Greens receptive but slopes very hard to read! Most holes can be reached in regulation with decent shots, however, three or four holes are very challenging for the average golfer and can escalate the score quickly. Putting was a challenge but pin positions were "ridiculous" on most holes today. No one in our group made a putt in excess of ten feet in length. Lots of subtle and confusing breaks. However, we will be back to try our luck again. All in all, a fun day!
Great course, that's not crowded
Some of the best fairways in Oklahoma, If you hit off the fairways you can still find and hit your ball. Greens are in good shape. Not nearly as crowded as the city courses.
very nice layout-last 5 holes tough
I enjoy the course, very fair but has some very tough holes. Course is all you want from the back tees.
Hidden Gem
Course is in great shape and never crowded. Two interesting par 3s over the water.
Great course. Well maintained. Great layout.
Fairway grass was thick and mowed. Rough was thick and longer. Electric carts. Nice grass bunkers and sand bunkers. Not crowded. Good driving range.
Great course!
I wanted to try a new course this week so I decided to try Cimarron Trails. I did not know what to expect considering that I had never even heard of the course before. The course was a good hour drive from OKC, but well worth it. The course was well maintained. Even on Sunday afternoon they had maintenance people watering the greens. I played the gold tees and was very surprised how they were actually in a completely different location than the other tees. The course had some great tee placements that look difficult. The other surprising feature was the course had many water hazards. The greens were also in great shape. Overall the course was fun and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new course to play.
Very nice course and well maintained
This course is a long way from my home but it is worth the drive as it is so well taken care of and the pace of play is great. The have very nice golf carts as well that provides for a comfortable ride around the course. I highly recommend the course.
