Great course Photo submitted by 5959steven on 11/08/2016
The greens are in great conditions and so are the fairways. Overall, this is my favorite course.
By far, a great value and experience with some great, unique holes.
Great views, fun time
a really fun, forgiving course with great views. small downside is greens are in a tough shape on a few holes.
Greens are nice but fast , sand traps were raked even after rain the night before.

Fun, better than average but needs SOME attention.
A unique golfing experience with 2nd to none elevation changes. The staff were more than friendly and the greens are in great shape. I do however need to mention that the bunkers need attention in the worst way. (I know, stay out of them right?) it's like hitting off of concrete. Definitely no need to rake when your shoes can't leave an indention of any kind. The green side bunker on #11 has been filled with animal stuffing (think giant teddy bear) for years. And the green side bunker on #13 might as well be a pond. (Hasn't rained for several days). Bottom line? Fun course but if you're not going to maintain the bunkers in a playable fashion, just fill them in.
small greens and a lot of slope
The greens were still a little bumpy from aerification. Play was slow and no one to speed up play. The threesome ahead of us stopped at least four times to buy beer from the cart girl and then had to stop for rest room breaks.
Slow play.
Course played slow due to a women's league that teed off prior to us. Staff said they were on score card pace but didn't seem possible since we were on pace per the scorecard and we caught them and were going to have to play slow from hole 12 on. My playin partner didn't get to finish his round because of the pace.
Incredible views of downtown
Short, challenging layout with several fun holes. All types of shots required to keep ball in play. Excellent value compared to others in the area.
Course has a great layout. However, lots of ground under repair and many of the fairways have holes and dips that should be leveled out (rough cond)
The T times are to close together for the course layout. Many times you are waiting for your next shot the entire round.
Great course but lacking amenities/service
Course is always in great condition but on a Sunday, there shouldn't be one staff member running front desk, getting carts and ringing up grill items (which is really just snacks cause there's no one there to cook any hot food). Green fees are too high to justify continuing this level of service.
Fun
This is not the old Goat Hill! lol The greens have gone from the slowest in town to the fastest, but true roll.
The clearing of the trees to see the rocks and side walls has really improved the appearance.
good course
Good staff, course in good condition overall good experience
nice layout
Bad for elderly can't take cart to pickup equipment from car. Must carry to and from cart rental.
Very Interesting Course
This might be the most interesting course to play in the Tulsa area. Each hole is different. When I'm looking to go and have a great time, and not worry about my score so much, this is the course I'll play. A driver is not needed on every long hole, so some thought must be used off the tee, and it's a must to stay on the fairway. Reminiscent of Cherokee Hills, at the Hard Rock, with all the elevation changes. Though this course might not be as well maintained as Cherokee Hills, everything is still maintained well. Seems to be a lot of dead divot marks on the greens. For the money, my favorite course to play.
This course is unique.
I love playing the canyons. There is no course around that gives you such elevation changes. You will be hitting a five iron to a fairway fifty feet below you or hitting a short iron on a par 3 with an eighty foot drop. Canyons is well kept for a municipal course. Great value. I am a fan.
Great course with awesome views of Tulsa
A fun course that requires imaginative shot-making due to many dog legs and elevation changes. Not overly challenging due to the short yardage, but offers a fun test for most average golfers. Maintained fairly well for the price, although there always seems to be a ton of ball marks left on the greens. The tee shot on number 10 is one to remember, teeing off towards the Tulsa downtown buildings. Overall, one of my favorite courses in the Tulsa area.
