Good Overall
The course is in good shape. Nice to see it dry again.
The layout is very straightforward. No doglegs. It is pretty much a tee it up and fire away
It keeps getting better
Although my game doesn’t get better with the weather, the course certainly does. One of my favorite places to play and when the pace is like it was a true it’s a winner every time. Roll out on your ball is a mixed pleasing. It a pleasant sign of drier weather.
Summertime golf, finally
Pleasant 83 to starter the round, ending at 94 degrees! Course is in great shape, got run out on the holes you would expect which was nice to see. Could use some more sand the the traps, ut nice to see some attention had been given to them this morning.
Love the layout
Old growth doug firs add so much beauty. Golf boards were cool. Wasn't aware I could rent those at courses around Portland.
A touch of summer
No rain for a few days and the course perked right up. Freshly mowed, the fairways were in good shape and the greens were still bumpy in spots. Overall a fantastic time for golf in Oregon city. Enjoyed myself.
Wet and soggy
The conditions were tough, it was wet and very soggy. The worst part was the pace of play was so slow, it almost took three hours to play nine holes. We had 3 1/2 hours to play 18 with the two of us, but with being so slow we were only able to play nine. I paid for 18 and when I went in to get a nine hole voucher the gentleman refused and said it was super twilight! Disappointed they wouldn’t work with me!!
Slow and Poorly Maintained
Tried to play 9 at 5pm on. Wednesday thinking I could squeeze it in. Course was in awful shape. Bunkers were like clay, fairway was nonexistent, greens were sanded. Pace of play wasn’t any better. 4 holes in I quit and went home.
