Winter golf
Pretty muddy but given that it’s winter in pdx not terrible.
Good course, decent value
My only complaint is you allowed golf carts on the course after a big rain storm last week and that tore up the course a bit.
Awful Course
Even in the middle of a dry spell the course was soggy. Greens were incredibly slow. It’s a cow pasture. Don’t bother.
Smokey end of a round
Just as predicted the wind direction turned and the air turned brown with smoke but the wind speed didn’t pick up to disrupt our enjoyment of the day and course. Love this course every time we play it.
Great Golf
The course was in great shape and I really like the cups on the greens being so well taken care of.
Like to wait, this is the course for you!
Typical day at Glendoveer includes poor course management, slow play, PDP members bouncing around the course as if they own it and the starter allowing people to just walk on in between the :07-:08 tee times. I really love the course but just as you get momentum you’re sitting waiting for the players in front of you who’s your card is on the line for every shot/putt.
Friday friends
Great weather is what we expect this time of the year and it was perfect. The course is still in great shape for this time of the year and quantity of play it receives. I’ll be back!
Very good condition
Playing a foursome today, the pacing was good, rental carts were very clean, checking in was quick, fairways were lush green and neatly mowed, greens were smooth and rolled nicely. Only surprise was the raised cups on greens due to Covid pandemic so my new low scores had an asterisk on it!
Always great
Glendoveer is a great course for a good no pressure round. The east side is a little more challenging but the greens are well maintained.
Tee time wasnt available upon arrival
I purchased the round thru golfnow.com and received a confirmation. Upon arrival at the course I was told they didnt have anything available for the next 48 hours. Had to turn around and drive 30 mins back home. (My reviews are based on the dozens of times I've played at Glendoveer).
Great course for the price
I like this course, from the friendly staff to the 18th hole. I would've included the 19th hole, but I do miss a reasonably priced dining area, not a pricey pub next door. I gave the course condition 5 stars because it was as good as can be expected this time of the year. Also, even though we played one day after aeration, which has to be done, I couldn't believe what a great job the greens crew did. I've played on a lot of plugged greens in my day and they were the best by far. Kudos to them.
Great to be out.
The ground was very wet from the overnight rain storm, but I had my mudders and the course pretty much to myself. Saw 4 other people all socially distancing themselves. Nice morning to be out and the course was in amazing condition considering the amount of rain. The greens were in especially good shape.
