Great value, fun layout, a little wet
Drainage is biggest issue, but excellent value, great range set up with big screens for tracking tech
Poor Golf Edict
As with a lot of course in Portland this time o year, the coarse was a bit sloppy. That is to be expected, so no real complaints about that. Just noting the conditions.
The greens were soft and ran pretty fast considering how soft they were. I am not sure how the grounds keeping crew mowed them. Complements to the grounds keeping team.
Since the greens were so soft, balls lofted on to the green left substantial ball marks on the green. A large percentage of golfers failed to repair the ball marks. My threesome often repaired 5 to 7 ball mark while on the green.
While the wet weather made the sand traps fairly compact, players seemed to believe that they didn't need to rake out their foot prints or club cuts in the sand traps. I watched one gentlemen play his ball out of the sand, walk the length of the sand trap, and not rake the trap.
I am suspect that this is just a reflection of the lack of manners that seem to be more prevalent in society any more.
Glendo east
Love the course but it's way too soft to play right now.. it's winter so what are you going to do..
soild course during the week
greens had been punched the week before but are already healing and rolling smooth.
Golf Now Scam
Why did I book on this app? They just charged a fee for nothing and I paid the course directly. Should have just called the course. What a scam!
Summer time?
Only made it to 72 degrees but the course was marvelous! Greens still in very good condition, most slow but rolling good. One of my favorite places to play.
Fast greens and good fairways
Get greasy for a challenging walk. Tee boxes are near the greens but a few holes have a serious up hill climb. Good cardio round.
The greens are excellent and tests your skills.
It’s time
The greens could be rolled out to eliminate some of the bumps but otherwise it was a great day. This is the time to play this picturesque hilly course and get some exercise.
Way overpriced
74 bucks for 2 to play 9 holes on a Tuesday afternoon is ridiculous. Guy in the pro shop was a d!ick too. Don't think I'll be back.
