Cherry Creek Golf - The Links Course

Greens made scoring impossible. Obvious aeration recently, best green was one that was top dressed. Others were shaggy and really lumpy. Air times on putts not helpful.

Only reason a 4 out of 5 Greens were aerated recently. Otherwise great track.

What can I say, I had a terrific day out with my son at the links at cherry creek. Although the greens were aerated, the greens I thought were fair. It had rain earlier in the day and the course drained very well. The course was clean and manicured. I love that the course makes you think about your tees shot and approach. I may be in the minority on this but I like the eagle birdie opportunity on the par 6 18th hole.

Fairly nice course, very wide and open, hidden traps and water hazards, easy to play.

I play this course once a year, today I'm wondering why I drove an hour out, paid $67.00. waited for the 3 some in front of me very shot. ( I was in a 4 some including a junior beginner) when I could have played Bethpage. No one in the bag drop off, no starter, where the heck is everyone? The only people I saw today was the pro shop guy to take my money and the ranger because there are sure a lot of guys playing from the wrong tee. As a women golfer I think golf clubs should change the color of the forward tee from red to something more neutral so that beginners (men) don't feel so silly playing the forward tee. There should no be no shame in playing the forward tee, only shame when you double par every hole because you're playing the wrong tee.

Drive out a couple times a month from the city. We always have a good time.

This course is like your own private club, great conditions , would play again for sure

A challenging course for any player. They even have a par 6 ! And it's hole 18. So when you're almost out of gas you need to dig deep to reach the green in regulation

Course is in great shape. Greens show little wear and roll true.

the barmaid charged us full price and then told us we missed happy hour by 3 minutes!!!--she should have told us before we ordered !!!!--poor judgement and service with that move!

Quality golf course that is very long. A number of big fairway bunkers with a great deal of sand probably was why they call it a "Links" golf course but frankly, the fairways, greens and roughs were so emerald, there was little resemblance to the more traditional Scottish and Irish Henry's
Having said that, I can't wait to return there in several weeks!

Course is in very good shape, plenty of room for error yet a very good test.

I can't remember the last time that I enjoyed a course like I did yesterday at Cherry Creek. The people were great, the course was beautiful and the food was great.

Course was in very good condiion - fairways were cut and green with few heavy divot marks and the greens were in very good shape.. Will go back again soon.

Clean course. Very well manicured. Would go again. Great price.

Course is not particularly interesting but the conditions always seem to be very good and the greens are very good. They also have one of the better grass driving ranges around. Good value for the price relative to other courses in the area

After picking up a great deal on golfnow.com I made the 40 minute drive out to the links at Cherry Creek for a mid morning round. Course wasn't crowded at all so that led to a great pace of play. Course was in good shape. Had some challenging holes with narrow fairways and tight greens. If you're wild off the tee you can easily get yourself into some trouble at this course as the rough is very thick. But if you can get yourself into the fairway on the regular theres some birdies to be had. Would definitely return. Staff was very nice all around.

A very playable course. friendly staff. It is a good place to play with a less experience buddy.

Got lucky caught a "rainy day" turned beautiful at the links. It poured all night the night before. SOme of the fairways were a bit soaked but were dry and great by mid round (11am-noon). One of the only rounds this year I've managed to finish in about 4 hours. Pace of play was great and starters were very active around course checking on conditions, pace of play, etc. Never played Cherry Creek before and it was worth every Penny.

The golf course is long and challenging! If you play in the fairway it's enjoyable but if you play outskirts you should bring with you a good up and down skills to score good!
