Beautiful
One of the best maintained public courses I have ever played.
Some nicely challenging holes and good overall distance.
It was a lot of fun.
Fix tee off boxes!!
I have been going to this golf course for the last 15 plus years and this was by far the worst it has ever looked. I don't even know where to start with. Uneven tee boxes is a good start. My feet or ball were 2 to 3 lower than other. The tee boxes were bare and missing much of the grass on them. I liked the sign saying slow play is not ok on the first hole. Maybe others should have read the sign. Almost 5 hours later and 15 holes later we quit because we had other things to that evening. We left so frustrated and upset.hat amateurs could not allow other golfers to go in front of them. All I can say is Vince the old owner would be upset if he saw the how poor it looked now. Out of the 50 rounds I played this year on many courses, it was by far the worst course I played on.
Good staff rates and shop horrible pace of play
While I have been here several times and absolutely love their pro shop theres a big hangup here and thats the average pace of play. My round for a 2 some was over 5 hours long and nobody seemed to want to let us through nor was there anybody on the course to monitor this. Myself and my friend can easily do a 3 hr round but this is never the case at Chili. Now for the better again pro shop is best in area for used clubs. Course was in good shape but needs some extra drainage dugout in a couple spots and sand traps were completely compacted. Would go back but also would go later in day as to not get stuck behind a slow ignorant group.
Changes have been made
I think the owners are on the right track. The course is still a bit wet. Tees and rough needs mowing. We’ll play again in July or August and post another review.
Quirky
Older style track with smallish firm greens. A course you have to play more than once to know where and how to best play certain holes. Not long but more challenging than it appears. Staff was awesome and the pro shop well stocked. Look forward to playing there again.
Great course
The course is in great condition! The staff not very friendly, also we were on the 5th hole and a 4sum pulled up and went ahead of us ( maybe a outting ) then they left and when we got to the 10th tee there was a 4sum teeing off and we had to play slow golf behind them seemed strange as we were the first ones out at 7:10 , that being said the course is worth playing
Amazing green
I often sharing with other golfers that the course at Morgan Crossing Country Club is in great shape, and the putting surfaces are amazing! Congratulations to all of these the crew and the superintendent for an awesome job!
Fun Muni Option in Rochester Area
Played while visiting Rochester area for 2023 PGA Championship. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. They had pull-carts to rent since we walked. Fairly easy walk to play. Course in good shape despite wet conditions. Plenty of dog legs and challenges to keep your course management on alert. I would play here again when visiting Rochester.
The course is coming along nicely.
Since the new owners this course has improved a lot. New range, new carts, some new tee boxes. I enjoy playing here. It is a great course that's close to home. Still some drainage issues but it's overall vastly improved.
