Meadow Lakes Golf Course

Nice course but management doesn’t seem to care about what happens on the course. It’s all about making money.

Not sure how they keep the course so nice after a long cold winter, but kudos to the course maintenance crew.

Greens were rolling like mid-season conditions at top quality courses.

LOTS of water, which makes this course challenging. Easy course to walk, if you choose to. I just love this course for the money.

The course is in great shape. Only knock is they have temporary tee boxes in places which is understandable in the winter but when the ground thaws it’s like teeing off in the swamp. I hat hitting off a mat but a mat would be way better than the swamp.

$31…. Come on.. can’t beat that, and so far it’s in the best shape of any course in central Oregon.

Played front 9 in 1 hour 40 minutes, back 9 stopped after 15 holes. Already 1 hour 45 minutes. Followed several groups who seemed more interested in talking than playing golf. Waiting for the green to clear before teeing off on the par 4’s. Still took them 2+ shots to reach the green.

Enjoyed playing there as always. Course really needs to have some leaves picked up. Lost 2 balls in the leaves, but did find 3 others so ahead on golf balls.

Went into cafe and had their “Happy Hour Burger”. Very good value here.

Meadow Lakes is a nice, well maintained and well laid out course. It has the best maintained public greens in the area. My only compliant is the pace of play, which has been brutally slow both times I played there this year, over 4 hours both times. In fact this last round I didn't get to finish because I had evening plans and bailed after 16.

Golf course is in the best shape I have seen from tee to greens. The greens are perfect, you'll need to pay attention when putting they are very fast.
