About
Silver Lake Golf Course sits along Staten Island's North Shore, offering a scenic and challenging layout that is one of the five boroughs' best-kept secrets. The course has a classic layout with postage stamp-sized greens and narrow fairways. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the golf course appears shorter than it plays. The tight layout demands accuracy throughout especially on the lengthier holes, of which there are several. The course offers interesting risk-reward opportunities and holes 12 through 14 are considered by locals the "Amen Corner" of the North. The entire layout will test your shot-making abilities. In addition to the challenging round, Silver Lake is known for having consistently excellent conditions with some of New York's best greens, which is why it has garnered a strong following among local players.

Golfer Reviews
Ok course but too tight, confusing at times, SLOW!
Ok course but too tight, confusing at times, SLOW!
Also, if you are a long hitter you have to be wary of going onto a road, homes, etc.
Greens would be better if properly cut.
Fun Time !
Enjoyable day coming from the Bronx to try out a new course!
Worth the Trip
Great course to play if you are looking for a nice ferry ride from Manhattan on a warm day! Short cab ride to the course from the ferry terminal. Greens always seem to be in great shape here and run fast. Some holes are a BIT close to each other which can lead to a lot of crossover between groups and shouts of "FORE" while playing. Pace of play can be slow because of this but seems to clear up in certain areas, especially toward the end of the round. Worth the trip to check it out!
Working mans country club style course
We love playing Silver Lake. The staff is second to none. Very unpretentious.
Rain golf in Statten Island
Had a great round of Rain Golf. Course did play longer, because of the wet conditions. The tee boxes and the greens were good, the fairways are excellent. The course is a bit up and down, but that is the fun to play. The breakfast at the clubhouse was great. There isn't any range to warm up though.
