LaTourette Golf Course

Watched the sunrise from the porch at Latourette clubhouse, then off to golf.

Greens were perfect condition, and fairways aerrrated....

Perfect time to play fall golf ...

Had a Sunday 6:58am tee time

There were 12 standing on the tee box, it was 6:58, and those 8 missed their time. Total confusion and arguments

Weekends sometimes no starter is present. Rare occurrence.

My group (meaning Me) acted as starter, created foursome and sent them off. Told the groups to play best ball to move the pack on the first hole

(I worked as a teenager 45 years ago as a caddy at Dyker Beach, so knew the process )

Shockingly they did just that.... my group teed off around 7:15 and was done by 9:30

But overall, still was enjoyable, conditions were great

Played an almost 6.5 hour round. Absolutely the slowest round I’ve ever played. The groups of players have horrendous etiquette yelling and swearing at each other on the tee boxes cause of the slow pace of play and not letting each other pass. Would never recommend this course for anyone who just wants a chill relaxing round.

This is a local municipal golf course, which has been under new management the last few years. The price for a tee time and cart have continued to go up. You are better off going to New Jersey for a better experience. Hot deals only but even those were increased. Not worth the price to play here.

Been playing here for nearly 25 years and the greens are in great condition. White tee boxes are in need of help, considering the amount of play I get it.

2some in front of us never joined up with the 2some in front of them so I definitely slowed us up.

Greens were very nice The rest of the course needs work. Including t boxes and consistency of the rough

I PLAY OFTEN AT LA TOURETTE BUT DUE TO THE HEAVY TRAFFIC, THE COURSE HAS LACKED PROPER MAINTENANCE AND AS A RESULT THE CONDITIONS HAVE SUFFERED.. MORE DISTURBING IS THAT WHEN I BOOKED THE TIME THROUGH GOLF NOW, I WASNT ADVISED THAT THE COURSE WAS BEING AIRATED BEGINNING IN THE MORNING ON THE DAY I WAS PLAYING IN THE AFTERNOON . GOLF NOW SHOULD GIVE ME A REFUND!

Nice course with a good practice facility. The only complaint I have was the pace of play. 5 1/2 hr round. It could have been better, but the starter was not helping the situation. He started a group that was a half hour late in front of us. That pushed our tee time back 10 mins. Then there wasn't any ranger to help push the flow. At times we were two groups back on the tee box. Not acceptable for anyone who wants to have a good time out on the course.

While my favorite local course is being repaired , I went back to La Tourette for sn early morning round.

I wasn't disappointed.

Its a challenging course, narrow fairways elevated tees and greens, doglegs, and unforgiving bunkers....

What an enjoyable round.

Mentally and physically challenged, especially when you walk the hilly terrain.

And the driving range is in great condition as well.

Greens, fairways, tee boxes in very good shape. Completed the round in just under 4 1/2 hours, which is unusually good for this course on the weekend. Practice range also in better condition than in the past. Very enjoyable day

No senior rate on weekends, what’s up with that? $90 for greens fee and cart is rediculous to play a city course Greens not cut. Cart patch are all broken up and need repair.
