LaTourette Golf Course

I’ve booked three tee times this year all different days of the week. Every time I have played it is beyond slow pace of play due to them having mass amounts of high schoolers walking playing matches. I’m all for the school teams to have their time to play but the course should not be greedy and book tee times at the same time. This course gets more expensive every year while the pace of play and course conditions seem to go down.

Too much unfinished work , sand traps that are like dirt or empty. They reduced a lot of sand traps to pot bunker size. The cart paths are so bad that you drive on grass.

$80 for a dog track. This place is in terrible shape. The tee boxes the greens horrible. Fairways soso. The cart paths are the worst I've seen.

The course is in shockingly great shape. Bunkers were used for snow removal, so need some work... greens are hard and fairways soft.... challenging

Going back to play on Saturday and Sunday

Watched the sunrise from the porch at Latourette clubhouse, then off to golf.

Greens were perfect condition, and fairways aerrrated....

Perfect time to play fall golf ...

Had a Sunday 6:58am tee time

There were 12 standing on the tee box, it was 6:58, and those 8 missed their time. Total confusion and arguments

Weekends sometimes no starter is present. Rare occurrence.

My group (meaning Me) acted as starter, created foursome and sent them off. Told the groups to play best ball to move the pack on the first hole

(I worked as a teenager 45 years ago as a caddy at Dyker Beach, so knew the process )

Shockingly they did just that.... my group teed off around 7:15 and was done by 9:30

But overall, still was enjoyable, conditions were great

Played an almost 6.5 hour round. Absolutely the slowest round I’ve ever played. The groups of players have horrendous etiquette yelling and swearing at each other on the tee boxes cause of the slow pace of play and not letting each other pass. Would never recommend this course for anyone who just wants a chill relaxing round.

This is a local municipal golf course, which has been under new management the last few years. The price for a tee time and cart have continued to go up. You are better off going to New Jersey for a better experience. Hot deals only but even those were increased. Not worth the price to play here.

Been playing here for nearly 25 years and the greens are in great condition. White tee boxes are in need of help, considering the amount of play I get it.

2some in front of us never joined up with the 2some in front of them so I definitely slowed us up.
