About
Silver Lake Golf Course sits along Staten Island's North Shore, offering a scenic and challenging layout that is one of the five boroughs' best-kept secrets. The course has a classic layout with postage stamp-sized greens and narrow fairways. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the golf course appears shorter than it plays. The tight layout demands accuracy throughout especially on the lengthier holes, of which there are several. The course offers interesting risk-reward opportunities and holes 12 through 14 are considered by locals the "Amen Corner" of the North. The entire layout will test your shot-making abilities. In addition to the challenging round, Silver Lake is known for having consistently excellent conditions with some of New York's best greens, which is why it has garnered a strong following among local players.

2 Groups Waited on Every Tee
3:00. for 9 Holes. A Saturday 3:00 Tee Time. Lots of Two-Somes. Slowest Round ever played. Gotta combine all the 2somes….

In Great Shape
Great course that's right over the bridge from Brooklyn. I highly recommend it. Have to play smart or else you'll land in trouble.
On a side note, the food is great.
Recent airation
Rental clubs and airated greens in front of us, slow pace of play for midweek wetter than usual conditions but still fun, cart prices way too high!
Manager, please keep Wayne away from me
Wayne’s still picking on me continuously.
To manager, Please do not minimize his rudeness
If you keep Wayne away from me, that would simplify everying.
Wayne, stop yelling at me and do not haressing me
Today, Wayne’s yelling at me like “don’t come here”, as seeing me. I didn’t want to deal with ashokes like him, so didn’t say anything. So he kept yelling at like” you stop come here. “. Then i told him “ stop picking on me and keep away from me.” He kept saying i’m doing my job. . Wayne, you mean that haressing me is your job? Yelling at me is your job??
To manager; please at least you need to get Wayne stop picking on me and stop yelling at me. do your job and keep him away from me.
Staten Island gem
great course w lots of elevation changes and tight fairways... greens in good shape... definitely recommend... especially on on $40 hot deal... u can't go wrong...
TERRIBLE COURSE
The starters there are rude and this course is neither well maintained nor desirable to play.. It's hilarious how the starters were rushing us to the first tee even though we had to wait 15 minutes to tee off once we got there. Seems like they don't like people who play this course who aren't from the area
Wayne, stop yelling at customers!!
I heard some yelling voice behind me I looked up there and found out that Wayne yelling to other customers
Wayne, they are customers NOT your slaves. They are not criminals. When you find some customers parking wrong places or they are too slow , just go tell them. NOT YELLING at them. I do not understand why the manager keep him yelling at customers. The manager need to work to stop Wayne yelling at customers. I do not hear his ugly voice again , why don’t they at least to swich Wayne to Mondays or Wendesdays even they do not fire him.
