Silver Lake Golf Course sits along Staten Island's North Shore, offering a scenic and challenging layout that is one of the five boroughs' best-kept secrets. The course has a classic layout with postage stamp-sized greens and narrow fairways. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the golf course appears shorter than it plays. The tight layout demands accuracy throughout especially on the lengthier holes, of which there are several. The course offers interesting risk-reward opportunities and holes 12 through 14 are considered by locals the "Amen Corner" of the North. The entire layout will test your shot-making abilities. In addition to the challenging round, Silver Lake is known for having consistently excellent conditions with some of New York's best greens, which is why it has garnered a strong following among local players.

Sloooooowwww
Don’t go on a Saturday. The front 9 took 3 hours to play (not an exaggeration). There were groups waiting to tee off when we made the turn, so we played the front again. Not an enjoyable experience.
Pace of play was ridiculous, there was an outing which i am sure caused it, stay away when there is an outing.
Greens were in great shape, course overall in great shape , some fairways were roped off for maintenance but not a big deal. Some trees could be trimmed on 14.
We understand that aeration and certain upkeep and maintenance needs to be performed however when booking a course I believe that it’s the course and Golf now responsibility to let us know when the course is shut down for the maintenance
Weekend Golf
By far the best kept course on island but that comes with price. I’m sure it was in great shape for Resident men’s league early Sunday morning but by time we played greens were rough and people refuse to fix ball marks! Cart path only but full price to ride, needs to change! 6 hours to just finish in dark, need translator for Asian influx on what cart path only means! It’s always wet but wheel rut tracks all over track! Hopefully nice weather dries place out. Will stay away on weekends, not worth aggravation!

Personally speaking this is my favorite course on SI!
Good pace of play, I was out first
First out and no one on the back 9 when I got around to 10. Round was done in 2 hours. Exceptional pace of play
Silver Lake Golf Course
Expedient check in by a courteous and knowledgeable employee. Enjoyable round of golf. Club cleaning was done, at the finish of golfing, complimentary. Employees retrieved our cart after we packed our clubs in our cars.
Tuesday golf
Greens were being aerated and sanded, recent Spring rains left parts of course very soggy. Staff are friendly, course is nice when in peak form
Avoid At All Costs
Mud piles on nearly every hole, divots all over the greens, car path had pot holes as if someone threw grenades in there, ranger was also unfriendly. All that said and they’re still charging $60 for a round with a cart on a weekday afternoon. Don’t play here!
Great course
Had a great time. Course was in great shape .even with the course being kinda busy the rate of play was fantastic
It's been better
We're in mid april and I don't think it was cold enough this week for any frost delay, but I ended up teeing off 40 minutes behind. They have league play sundays mornings (never heard of anyone doing that). Course does not drain well in many areas, which was a bummer. Greens were in good shape. I've played here a bunch, usually enjoy it more.
Not worth it.
$85 to trek through a very poorly maintained course. Very bad condition, holes very close together. Not worth it
Course is always in good shape. We had a lot of rain so it was a some water on the course but that was to be expected.
