Forced to pay for cart
Booked online through GolfPass - $18 with cart deal. When I checked in at course, they said there was a cart fee of $5 since I was alone. Not a pleasant add-on, so I walked - but the cart should have been part of the cost I secured online (without any additional hidden fees).
Early a.m. with my pops
Pretty good straightforward little course. Pace was superb until they put a 3some in front of us on back 9. Good price though
Solid public golf course
Played CGC for essentially the first time (played once 25ish years ago). It has a decent layout tee to green, some scoreable holes and some that are a little more challenging. Pace of play was reasonable for an early Sunday round.
Course was in ok shape tee to green. A few rough spots, but about what you would expect from a mid-end public golf course. Greens were in very nice shape, a little on the slow side but were in excellent condition.
I found this to be a solid value and I really enjoyed my round. At its price point, i’ll definitely swing through here again.
Worth it
This a very good course layout, and the price is great. It may not have the finest fairways, or tee boxes, but the greens run true and are in good condition. Definitely worth playing if you are in the area.
Great value, accommodating staff, greens were in good condition. Overall a fun outing.
Most challenging Par 4 in the area!
Hole 17 for my money is the most difficult part 4 in the area. Hot day, pace of play was great, course is in great shape and the staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommend.
Forced to play the front twice
I walked into the clubhouse and waited 10 minutes to check in. I paid for 18 and the first question I was asked was do you plan on playing 18.
Apparently they have a league Tues night constantly playing the back 9 but still sell tee times for this period.
The layout isn't anything amazing but is good for beginners; the most disappointing thing was how poorly the course is cared for...there is no fairway and greens are dry; not worth the price.
Great time!
Layout was a little tight as people were constantly hitting back at you. Course was perfect but tee boxes were a little rough. Would play definitely again. Lots of fun.
Not bad other than extra charges
I liked the course, it was a beautiful day, booked on GolfNow. The guy at the pro shop informed me I would have to pay an extra $6 since I was a single & the group they put me with teed off already. He said “GolfNow should know this.” Very weird but I just paid it. Whatever. I probably won’t return there after that. There are 10 courses nicer within 30 minutes. I would have returned if this guy didn’t harass me for something I had nothing to do with. Played with two regular younger guys who were super nice and showed me the course layout.
