OMG what a beautiful course
This course fulfilled every thing about golf that I love. Tee boxes were perfect. Fairways immaculate. Rough very thick and greens are amazing. People that work there were so kind. My only complaint is cart path only on most of the holes. If you haven't played this course in a couple years do your self a favor and go.

My favorite course.
The work on the course has really made it a beautiful course. The course is fun to play, a good value, and nice layout. The staff at the pro shop has always been friendly and courteous. The prices on beer in the pro shop is very reasonable, the starters load your clubs on your cart and are friendly and courteous. The food and service at the Pavilion sports bar are topnotch. Pleasant Valley has become a very nice slightly upscale public course. Well worth the visit.

Just OK
They’ve done a lot with the course so I commend them for that. I’ve been here several times and the pace for the most part was slow. I will say the outdoor pavilion restaurant needs improvement. While it’s a nice set up, the wait staff has not gotten my order right anytime I’ve been there (it’s not even been close). Wait staff act as though they don’t care. Have also tried the inside restaurant and service was terrible.

Great features
the course was in very good shape for end of September. Greens were very fast but accessible, bunkers were pristine, carts were equipped with GPS. The restaurant is super nice and with a great beer selection!will definitely go back next year.
Terrible Conditions
This course is a former country club that turned public a few years ago. The recent island greens construction adds several nice looking holes to the course. However, they should have put that money into maintaining the course because the current conditions are downright awful. Rarely do you have a lie that isnt in burned up fairway patches, dirt, straw, mud, or solid concrete like firm dirt ground. Finding a nice patch of fairway is the biggest challenge you will face. Pace of play was also terrible, and that was on a Tuesday afternoon! I will play elsewhere for the remainder of this year. Even with the hot deal price of $16 it isnt worth it. Disappointing.

Good course
They have made a lot of improvements to the course which makes it a really good place to play.
They made some island greens which are nice to play. Only thing is #17. When they first made the island green for this, it was a nice hole to play, you had to think your game. Either play a short club or go for it but this time it was a 115 yard par 3. Was more fun being a longer hole. Hopefully they change it back.

Good For The Money
Lot of work has been put into the course over last few years. Back 9 is very challenging, especially holes
15-17. Four toughest holes end the front 9, so overall a very good challenge.

This is starting to be one of my favorite places to golf even though the course is under construction it's in great shape for this time of year with no rain.The staff is friendly and courteous
Good round with a friend
Overall, the course was in good shape considering the drought we are currently in. The greens were fast and receptive. The staff is fantastic and very friendly. The food was great after the round. Definitely play again.

Up-and-coming.
The new owner has made some significant changes. This is a fantastic course for the money.. Front six holes average for this area. Seven through 18 have been reworked and are in great shape. The bar and restaurant is inviting and new food was excellent. The staff very friendly.
