Course was closed
Booked a tee time to be told they were closed for weather. Booked on Wednesday our tee time was Saturday.
Great Course
The course is going through some major renovations that is close to being completed. When it is done it's going to be fantastic. Superintendent Ken Ivory is as good as it gets & is ready to help out with anything you need. The greens & tee boxes are always in fantastic shape which has spoiled me & caused me to be critical of other courses that could learn a lot from Pleasant Valley CC.
$50
Although new managment has made some improvements, there is no way i would pay more than $35 to play here. And even if it was $35 i would probally spend the extra 10 nucks and play somewhere nice like Madison, TotterRidge, Glenn Geary or Butlers.
Qith that being said..for 50 bucks a round, you should jave the xourse all to yourself.

Sanded greens
When booking through golf now there should be some indication that the greens were punched and heavily sanded. Impossible putting.
Bad Shape
The course was in very bad shape when we played on 8/2 and was not worth the price that we were charged ($37, which was a "hot deal" on golf now). The gentleman in the pro shop was very kind and personable but the course was just in very poor shape and the people in front of us were very slow and would not let a twosome play through. We played Champion Lakes on 8/3 and it was 10x nicer for less money. Would not recommend playing here if you have to pay over $30.
