Okay for a budget round
We played on a Sunday after some rain on Friday. The course has some very wet spots.
This course does not have a driving range, and the putting green is very basic. Some holes had missing description signs. We caught up to a fivesome of young guys and they let us play through.
There were signs that the restaurant was under new management. We did not try it.
The port-a-potty on the front nine was gross.
The guy in the pro shop offered some advice on some of the holes.
Good value for using hot deal
Played course after it rained all day previous so course was a little wet. Got a hot deal for 18 bucks a person. For that price course was fine. Back nine had some interesting holes
Great Value for Fast Round
Great practice course at a fantastic price. Slow greens. I will be back
Decent layout and in good condition.
Decent course for what I paid.
A driving range, to warm up, would be nice.
Overall, good value.
Front nine greens
Really like playing this course but it appears there is a disease on the front nine greens. Hole 4 green is unplayable. Back nine better. Hopefully management tries to fix as we do normally enjoy this course.
Good Day for golf
The course was in decent condition for winter. Maintenance had done some work on greens in Front Nine which required moving putts in some cases. Staff had indicated this prior to round. Bunkers were in really good condition for this time of year, much better than some very expensive courses that I've played. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cedar Ridge GC- a nice place to visit
Cedar Ridge GC is a great value and has some challenging holes on the back 9. The pace of play was good and the 2 staff members I met were extremely nice. This is a very walkable course and has some water, forced carries, and some lay-up holes. No fancy clubhouse or amenities onsite and there is nothing around the place, but Gettysburg is nearby for non-golf fun.
Nice place to play
Nothing is wrong with this golf course... great views.
A good day for golf
Myself and a friend enjoyed a nice round at Cedar Ridge. It was a beautiful day, and the course was in very good shape for this time of the year. I do recommend this course for others to golf. It is a very good deal, and just for those on a budget.
fair course
Fairways are bare and recent aerated with over seeding. Greens also have bare spots on most of the greens. All courses around the area have had a problem with diseases this year.
It's been better
This course is usually in pretty good shape. This was the worst I've ever seen a golf course. It was like hitting off of dirty pile!
Course not taken care of
The course was in terrible shape. Greens and fairways are partially dead in many areas. No ranger on course! People drove carts onto edge of greens and jumped around holes causing pace of play to suffer.
Adaptable to all skill levels
We will play here again because there were many things we learned the first time through that would improve our score there. Don't be fooled by the easy rating. You can play from the blues then the course is a hefty 130 rating. The front nine is straight forward so score well here. The back nine is pretty cool; several interesting holes that require thoughtful shots. The people we chatted with were very friendly. No pretentious airs here. It was an enjoyable afternoon.
Not friendly
As of right now, will not go back to this course again
Great hot round
First time on the course and found it somewhat challenging for my growing skills. Was paired with a patient gentleman who helped make the experience enjoyable. Thanks Bob!
