course is greT
Awesome greAt ourze best kept secret. Course condition great
Highly recommended
Good value for the money
Played this course with my son. Both of us played a little better than our average score. Course was in decent condition. Greens were not as quick as I would have liked, but they held every shot that hit them. Most greens were crowned, with a ridge in the middle. Most fairways were plenty wide, although there were some smaller pine trees that could cause problems. Bunkers could use a little more sand. Overall, I would recommend this course if you can get a good rate.
Great course
Cedar ridge is a fun course to play and quite challenging, especially the par 5's. The Bar has a neighborhood feeling and the bar food is above average. Try the smoked pork sandwich when available. You won't be disappointed.
Nice course
Guy in chg. left us go off early and on back side, front was busy with walkers. Would have made for long day, turned out we played in little over 3 hrs. Course was in great shape. Well worth the $16 we paid.
Good course
Nice simple layout that is well maintained. I enjoyed playing this course. Plan on playing it in the future
Greens conditions
Air rated greens on front 9 and not aplowed to play them. Back 9 had been done recently and still not ready for play either. Wish golf now would have something on it to let you know of these course conditions. Has happened several times now this year already.
Good Course
This is a good, average course for the local golfer who doesn't want to go broke playing. It's not too easy, and not too hard, which is great for a beginner golfer up to a scratch golfer. The most challenging part of this course are the green and pin placements. All in all, a good course.
Greens in great shape
Only real complaint was pace of play.... Two foursomes wouldn't let a single and a twosome play through... Other wise considering time of year course in great shape.
nice greens
Great bargain payed foursome 56 dollars played in less than 4 hours
a terrific experience for the money
it is hard not to love this course, with a bunch of long par fours to start, a semi-island par three on the eleventh, two nasty par fours on the thirteenth and fourteenth, and a bar at the end. pretty well maintained for the rate.
Staff was not happy
When we showed up the one behind the counter was not happy with us. Used foul language with a few people around to here it all. Very embarrassing.
Not too bad for the money
Went there on a couple Sundays in a row. They do not mow or drag the dew off of the greens. I thought that was kind of disappointing. There was a lot of ball marks that were not repaired on most greens. I guess you will get that with a lower-priced course though. Every thing was very green. The staff is nice. Played the round fairly fast. Not a bad course for the money.
Greens were in great shape.
These were the best greens that I have played on in the last 8 to 10 rounds.
Good course I've never played before
This course was in good shape and surprised to have never come across it . Anyone should give it a try and I think they will be satisfied. Got a great deal on it and it was worth the money.
Nice layout
The course was a nice layout and I like the back 9 better than the front. Both 9's are very different which makes it interesting. The course was all dried out and the greens were very hard to hold. I would play again but play it more like a links course and bounce them into the green.
Great Course
For the money, Cedar Ridge is a great Value. The staff is very personable, friendly and professional .
Cute Little Golf Course
I love this course. It's well maintained. It's usually not overly busy and the rates are some of the lowest in the area. The front nine is pretty wide open. I like hole 3 which is a short slight dogleg to the right with a huge bunker in front. The greens tend to be firm and are crowned making putting a challenge. The course is totally different on the back nine. It's much more challenging. Number 10 is short par 4 and you can drive it into trouble with too long of a tee shot. Number 11 is a very short but over water par 3 and it's hard to hold onto the green. The real test are holes 13-15. If you can get by these holes without too much damage you'll be feeling good. The course is a great value. I highly recommend it.
Great bang for the buck
I played at 10:30am on Saturday with 70 degrees temperatures. Hardly anyone was playing that day. The course was in pretty good condition and the layout is very easy
Two Eagles at Number Nine
My wife and I enjoyed the course. The greens were a little too firm for my comfort, but the rest of the experience was pretty good. An amazing thing happened on number nine. My wife had her first career eagle by draining a 7 foot putt. What made it amazing was the fact that I chipped in a 20 yarder for an eagle just prior to her shot. Husband and wife eagles on the same hole is hard to top.
