Which Way?
For the first time playing there, if not knowing what courses were named North, and South, and West, all laid out together wasn't confusing enough, then the absence of hole directions telling you which way to the next hole, really didn't make travelling through the terrain any easier. We had no idea that the West to South, and the North to West, and the South to wherever, were 9 hole layouts. I'm still not sure if we were playing on the correct holes. Why all the different directions for the holes? I heard it was 27 holes afterward!! where were the other 9 holes we never saw? Don't thin I'll be back no time soon until directions and layout is better. Thanks, but no thanks.
Great Value
Three different 9 hole tracks with three different personalities. Very good condition on all three. Interesting layouts. Our group played 18 in a bit over three hours. Nice grill and good staff. Enjoy playing here.

First time played
It looks wild and challangeable.
it is worth playong for this price.
but under summer days, There are few trees to take shadow.
Nice day
Not too busy at noon so played in a little over 3 hours. Fairways pretty hard but still moderately green. The greens were in good shape but also very firm.
Interesting Layout
Challenging course with a variety of terrain, water hazards, and fairway shapes that benefit from careful course management decisions. Conditions were generally good, though a few greens had some bad spots.
Gorgeous Day
Very warm but not humid day. Our tee time was at noon. We got off early and the course was in very good shape for all the heat we have had this summer. The starter was great. The club house attendant was not very talkative. We seen at least 3 rangers out on the course which is always a plus! Will be back.
Try someplace else
My wife and I joined up with a nice gentleman hoping to make the pace of play seem better. It didn’t work, we still waited every shot around the course. The tee boxes that had grass was 2-3 inches long. Many of the red tees seem like after thoughts. The greens have dirt patches on many of them. It’s a shame to see how the course conditions have deteriorated.
OK Course
OK Course for the money. The tee boxes and greens were in bad shape. Looks like not enough water. The layout is very nice. They are not dealing with the COVID -19 pandemic at all. None of the workers were wearing masks. The inside was kind of rude. when asked about the ability to social distance by having single riders in carts, he responded that you can go back to Maryland for that. Very rude. Probably won't be back. Even though is was cheap to play.
Very nice course
There is 3 sets of nine holes, I played the South and North. They were in excellent shape. Large undulating greens , real sand in traps. I don't think you can find a better course for the money, $15 hot deal.
Course is in great shape
With 3 different 9 hole courses you can play a different combination multiple times. Greens are in excellent condition.
Layout good greens slow
South Hills is 3 nine hole courses. All have elevated greens which provides a good challenge. Hilly course which provides challenge too. Nice layout very disappointed in the greens. Very slow. I guess they need to constantly water them but the grass is not such that would provide any speed.
Great course. Will be back for more.
One of the most challenging courses in the York/Adams area. Course in great shape. Some greens had some dead, chunky spots but overall couldn’t complain. Cup placement on the day of our round was VERY challenging. I recommend this course!
Good challenge!
Have not played here in decades, so it seemed like my first time. Lots of "hills" (are you surprised?) and good variety of hole shapes. Though several holes on the South Course border one another, they are lined by very mature trees, so the sightlines are good and become hazards if you don't play the fairway angles properly. Greens were not is top shape (aeration and sand visible but 3-4 weeks old) but when they are it will be a nightmare for ready breaks. NO FLAT ROLLS ANYWHERE, my firends. Local knowledge is key, which we lacked. I'm not sure how you will play this course when the weather is hot and nothing stops. ENJOY!
Funtime
Overall experience was great. Greens were in good shape, fairways starting to grow, not bad for this time of year. Definitely would recommend playing these courses.
