Tee boxes were horrible

Greens bad

Condition overall ok

Great layout

Considering there hasn’t been rain in a while the fairways were in okay shape. Very difficult putting a tee into the super hard tee boxes.

The greens were in excellent condition and being hand watered as we played.

All employees at course were first rate and course was in good shape. Being a person who shoots mid to high 90s the course is enjoyable for my game. If anyone shoots below 85 or drives the ball over275 might find the course not much of a challenge. Only downside I had was it took over 5 hours for the round. This was not the courses fault. I got paired with a group that had a person who had never played before.

Course has been run into the ground in 2 months since it opened back up. Tee boxes are completely torn apart, some greens are punched (not mentioned when you book the round and they still charged full price) other greens have been replaced but not pressed, inconsistent from one hole to the next. I used to enjoy this course but will not be returning

Made some much needed improvements on 11 and 13. Course was in decent shape for Middletown.

Greens were very fast i like them like that. Fairways in good shape so are the tee boxes. Still feel the course is a touch over priced but hot deals are worth it

Played here prior to covid 19, so I guess things are different everywhere. The staff has always been great except for one female member of the staff who has not changed. Anyway when we arrived for a 130 tee time, this particular staff member told us there would be a delay because there were no carts. We said we understand. Covid19.

Carts were provided 15 to 20 minutes later. At the 11th hole the same staff person told us we would need to let a group behind us play thru or play faster, the group behind was a threesome we were a foursome and had they not hit up on us 2 or 3 times would not have been an issue. But she said there was a 2 hole gap with the group in front, of course that was after she had held us up on the 10th hole. We explained the situation and reminded her that we were delayed 15 to 20 minutes so the gap between us and the group ahead would not be there had we been able to tee off at our designated time. She then said we took 2 hours and 15 minutes so far and that was too slow. Doing the math, I said we were playing at 13 minutes a hole average and that would be just under 4 hours. She replied they expect 12 minutes so a round is played in 4 hours and 20 minutes. Okay so math is not a requirement to work there. Ruined my round and now I won't return to a course I've played for 25 years, longer then shes been there. Not a nice enough course to put up with an attitude from an employee of a public course.
