Always a fun round
Given the troubles that the weather has caused, the course is in good condition. Flooding caused some damage but relatively little impact on playability. We drive from Harrisburg and really feel like its worth the trip!
A Fun Experience
Dodged the rain and the course basically to ourselves. Course is in fine shape with the exception of a few "dead" patches of grass on a few greens. I asked about it, it was a moss that got in a few greens. They killed the moss and are now in the process of getting the few small patches growing grass again. The course is a nice layout, with a variety of holes. There are some interesting risk/reward type of holes. Clubhouse house nice TV's and a full bar after your round. Food is not bad as well. It was a fun experience all around!
Nice quiet course like a country club
Excellent course. Nice greens and course kept in great condition. Pro shop is well maintain with a lot of items. Bests I have seen. Beats most pro shops including Country Clubs.
Nice layout
Course has a nice layout. Greens were a little rough for being June, however, the fairways were like hitting off carpet.
Nice course
Staff very considered. Lost a club and the starter went looking for it. Found the club. Nice pro shop and golf course. Back nine have some challenging holes. Enjoyed the round of golf. Will return to play. Pro shop has a lot of items to choose from

Bunker city
1st time there so I was lucky to have chaperones. Nice layout. Nice greens. Rough was way to high but that was weather related. Pace was steady. Beer was expensive. I will go back, Later when the rough is lower.
Heavy rain resulted in flooded many (10 of 18) unplayable greens. Course should have been closed

I played this course again. I'm always ready to play Royal Oaks. It's a great layout and you hit every club in the bag.

Interesting layout. Nice mix of short/long holes which necessitates club selection off the tee. The course was in very good shape with a few minor exceptions in a couple of fairways. The greens are in terrific shape. It was very helpful that I played the course with a golfer with knowledge of the course. Knowing where and what to hit, especially on the tee box was very helpful.
Great time at a nice course
Threatening rain day we played, but held off. Nobody out so pace was awesome. Played well and lots of fun. Wide open with few tricky shots. Would definitely play again when close.
A great Spring weather day...finally
The course was in good condition for early season play. Some of the tees were a little rough and the greens were not holding well but everything else was great, it was a good day and I scored well. I'll be back!

Something for everyone. Greens slightly above average. Nice Clubhouse, good layout.

I love this course. With all the rain we have had this year (record rain fall) it's amazing how they have kept the course in good condition. Yes, there are a couple of holes (understandably) that have water and mud but nothing that stops my from playing this great course.
