Flatbush Golf Course

Thought this course was very challenging and played very long. Would defiantly play again. Can tell the course put money into this golf course .

2 things. Need to keep the hotdogs stocked.

And keep the ball washers filled with water.

This course was in excellent shape and always enjoy playing here! There was an ownership change a couple years ago and there was the possibility the course would close or become a nine hole venue, but those plans have changed and this gem is still offering a challenging round. The greens were a bit slow, but rolled very true. The staff is very friendly and has this course in A1 shape right now!

My wife and I love Flatbush. I think the course is laid out very well. At one time some serious money was put into the course with the entrance to hole one with stone and brick cart path and a starting booth that looks great but never used. I don’t know why they don’t run some different programs for golfers. Pay to join for a year and get discounts for people who want to play more than once a week. Make the club house with a little moe light and dress it up. Especially the bar area. My wife said the women’s bathroom is very dark and one tolit. Run some special events such as partners night league. The men’s locker room is great but I hardly see anyone in it.

Glad to hear it’s going to remain an eighteen hole course. The traps had more sand than the previous four courses that I have played put together. My wife and enjoy playing here.

I typically play Flatbush 10 - 15 times a year, and it ts one of my favorite local courses. The greens are well kept and the ball rolls true. Fairways are usually in very good condition, and the sand in the bunkers is usually a good consistency. I do have a couple of quibbles. First, there are at least four par 4 holes, perhaps five, on which the shortest tee box is 350 yards or more from the green. Now that I am in my 70's, I don't mind one or two such holes on a course, but four or five is just too many. Also, most of the tee boxes are in good shape, but there are a couple that are in poor condition year after year; that should not be. Fix them.

Made a time for 4 golfers. 2 adult 2 junior. Guy made a big deal about the littles going along. Said he didn’t have enough carts to let that happen even though I made a time for 4 golfers. Offered to pay for all four times at 49$ which is a travesty for the course condition and the way they let it go after being sold. Horrible business and won’t be having me or the other golfers back. How are you supposed to teach little ones the game if you won’t let them on the course? Hopefully they doze it soon for their stupid sports complex idea but the town won’t let that happen anyway. Been going there for 20 years since it’s close to the house, however there are plenty of mediocre golf courses that will let my son and niece play without making a huge ordeal over it.
