Enjoyable Mountain course
Challenging yet fair golf course. Lots of elevation changes and picturesque holes. Driving on community streets is kind of different, but many beautiful homes to see. Course is in good condition all around, although sand traps need work.
Home track
CCP is one of those courses that will challenge you in almost everyway that golf can. You will need almost every club in the bag. Its uniqueness is its greatest attribute and what keeps me going back. This is not your typical golf course at all its about 13 miles ling if you walked and that is almost impossible since its wanders uo and down the mountain and valley with some very steep inclines.
Ccp
Great course. Very challenging. Best shape it's been in since I started coming here. Staff Is great. Friday night 9 hole scramble is alot of fun.
Extremely tight.
Do not be deceived by the short yardage of this course from the back tees. With a lot of elevation change, blind shots, doglegs and narrow fairways with trees and high grasses, this is one difficult course. You must hit it straight and know your yardage or be prepared for a high scoring round. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains on a few holes and you never see one hole from another. Course winds through a community so be prepared to drive a minute or two between holes. Not a course for walkers. Very scenic with plenty of wildlife to view while playing. Course was in very good shape. Greens were immaculate...but slow so be prepared to hit firm putts. A good value.
Course in great shape despite recent dry spell. Greens soft and holding approach shots. Tremendous staff, especially Randy the starter and Todd in pro shop. Always a pleasure to play here.
No rangers, slowest rd ever
Tee time was 11:50. Was told they were behind 30 mines when checking in. Long story short, we played 11 holes in 4 1/2 hours and skipped the other 7 holes because they we so backed up. I cart girls or water during this time either. Never again
Blind shots and rough greens
The course was in only decent shape. The greens were shaggy and inconsistent. Almost every hole includes a blind shot. Have to drive what seems like miles through neighborhoods from hole to hole. For the money there are better close by.
Country Club of the Poconos
Course was in excellent condition, pace of play was Great.
Unbelievable Course - Great Value and Very Challenging
First time playing - had an 11 AM team time and great price for Hot Deals from Golf Now. The course is very tight requiring precise tee shots. Fairways, greens, bunkers were A+ - tee boxes B+. A beautiful layout through the area and homes. Need a cart to traverse between holes and the holes stroll through the community. Beautiful views of Camelback Mtn and other Pocono Hills. Many blind shots and most holes were not the same layout. Distance markers were true - many hidden shots to green with fantastic undulations but putt true. Will definitely come back again - 40 min trip from Jersey and the course played as well as many high paid exclusive clubs. Enjoy yourself and keep the ball in the fairway or it can be a long day - PS Poison oak and ivy line the roughs so be careful to venture for stray shot. Thank you for a wonderful day;.
Beautiful Course
Such a beautiful course with great scenery and well-maintained
My favorite Golf Now Pocono course!
Being extra golf balls, some holes have unforgiving hazards. The layout is like no orher courses I've played, I really enjoy the scenery, and challenging holes. Can't wait to play again.
Great course
Good course to play, recommend to everyone to play.
Bad conditions, A LOT of driving
- Very poorly maintained
- Lots of steep hills
- Drive 2-5 minutes through the neighborhood to get to each hole (add 30 minutes to your round time for driving)
- Challenging holes with a lot of areas to lose balls
- No course ranger, free for all golf
- At least they have port a potties throughout
