Golfer Reviews
May 4th
Course was damp and greens probably hadn't been cut in 4 to 5 days so they were extremely slow... but its one of the tightest courses you will ever play.. if your hitting 3wood and long irons well you can score but definitely a tough test..
Hidden gem in the mountains
Loved this course. 13 miles of golf cart driving in a beautiful setting might be too much for some people but I found it incredibly peaceful and unique. The course conditions were excellent after 6 weeks of covid shutdowns. Couldn't have had more fun
Interesting layout
This is not for a walking golfers course, long distance between holes (13 miles on the cart path). Very interesting layout in the community. Very well labeled direction to next tee. Greens in great conditions, fairways are good, excellent in leaf control off fairways. I’m looking forward in playing this course in the future.
Pleasant surprise
There are some issues with the greens from earlier applications of fertilizer. THIS WAS CLEARLY EXPLAINED AT CHECK IN.
OTHERWISE...a great golf experience for a public course. A challenging but fair layout. Can only imagine how pretty as season changes. Will definitely return.
Many Hills
Beautifull surroundings, golf path going through the neighbourhood, nice when being a tourist. Greens needed cutting.
Where do I even start...
It takes an awful lot to come away from a tee time that cost $15 feeling like you got ripped off.
Where to even begin?
Let’s see... the greens are longer than some fairways. The holes are sometimes a half-mile apart. I spent more time driving the cart on local roads from hole to hole than playing golf. There was no ranger. The pace of play was awful. No halfway house. No beverage cart. Basically, ya better pack a lunch because there are no amenities from tee-off to finish.
It was so bad by all measures, I walked off the course after 2 1/2 hours... on the 7th hole.
Wouldn’t play here again if it was free.
Unique Course
The pace of play was a bit slow. Lots of golf balls lost so bring some extras. The greens were a bit shaggy and slow but that was explained to us as a a result of some fertilizer issues that had damaged the greens and they were letting them recover a bit before mowing again. The course is fun to play. Lots of elevation changes. Long drives in the cart between holes which allowed us to cool off on a hot humid day.
Mountain View
Beautiful large and challenging property. Fairways in poor condition and greens could not be cut because of likelihood of burnout.
Do not
Course has been under repair for about 3 months now. Save your money and go anywhere else in the poconos. The review before mine gave 4 stars so i figured try it out again... no, do not come here. Wait til next spring. $36 hot deal is a joke. Bottom line, do not play here.

Green repairs coming in nicely. Some fairways burned out. But overall an enjoyable day.
Wow
I have played this course three other times but none this year. The last time I played it was June of 2018. Today’s round was one of the worst experiences I have had at a golf course. The fairways were brown (we have had a lot of rain this year), and the greens were embarrassing. The grass was too long on the greens, they were burnt and poorly patched, and the fringe was gone in most places. The last time I played this course it was in such better shape. I really don’t know what happened? It really makes me sad because this could be such a nice course. We saw plenty of maintenance personnel out and about but not sure what they were doing. Maybe I’ll come back another time if somebody tells me it’s gotten better. No more this year for sure....
Save your money....
Good Value
Even though they had an issue with greens the course was in nice shape. They gave us a heads up about the greens being repaired checking in and the price was fair considering.
Greens under construction
Greatly reduced price because of the greens. Can't putt on any green, really. Ignoring that since I knew in advance. Course is quite tight and also has many landing areas and doglegs. It's target golf so bring a laser. If you roll off the side of the fairway, you're probably within 10 yards of being OB. Lost balls are common. I'm a 16 and I lost 4 balls. Fairways were quite nice. It's very spread out and up to 3/4 mile between holes that are interspersed amongst the townhomes. And you're nowhere near the clubhouse after hole 6 so don't think you're getting food or a beer until you're done.
Course Under Repair
50% of the greens are under repair and the remaining greens are left at fairway height. I estimate that the course should be back in shape by the end of this season. That being said we still enjoyed the round for the very reasonable price of the Hot Deal. The elevated tees and the challenging carries over the waste areas make this course a fun layout even if the travel from some greens to the next tee feels like a commute back to NJ!
What a mess
It’s a real shame. They have 8 or 9 temporary greens and almost all the rest are trashed. Evidently they had a chemical issue that destroyed them. It’s a really pretty course, but it isn’t golf when you can’t take 50% of the shots. I think it’s done for the summer. Hopefully it will come back next year.
Shouldn't Be Open
Novel course layout . Have enjoyed it before. Not currently playable. Ten temp greens which are ten foot circles cut in front of damaged greens. Remaining greens rough as well. Cannot trust Golf Now bookings if course is in crisis and that status goes unnoted.
All the putting greens have been destroyed
resodding of all greens is underway, temporary greens are lousy
