Really nice day
Five hours for a twosome to play 18 wasn't terrible for me, but folks should know there is alot of driving between holes, However, play moved right along with no holdups. Challenging course and greens.. I'll definitely be back.
Awesome
Love playing here, beautiful scenery, love the layout. If that’s not enough, yesterday I encountered a fox den with five kits, deer and a bald eagle.
drive miles from one hole to next bin neighborhood on streets. not very safe. ok course if you like ravines
Fantastic Experience
We enjoy playing different courses throughout PA, NJ, DE and MD. This was more than a round of golf, it was an experience. The natural beauty, wildlife and layout provided us with an all around great time. The staff was very informative and polite. The greens and fairways we’re extremely well kept. We will definitely be coming back. Gene Sebesta
Municourse
Greens were in excellent condition, especially given the time of year. Tee-boxes were a bit beat up, rough was overgrown, and fairways were OK. For a muni course I was happy with the experience and would expect to visit again.
Can be tough
If you’re not hitting straight can be unforgiving also must be able to drive fairly long on some holes to get over hazards.
Nice…..but….
Course SCENERY, is beautiful, as any is realistically in the poconos. So you can always enjoy that. I called in the morning about green aeration, got 5 sideways answers, was told that he doesn’t play often and doesn’t know what the greens were like. I asked if anyone else had feedback, the response was I only have 4 guys that work here and it’s Sunday, no one is here. I said ok and got off the phone. Bottom line, if you’re running a pro shop, know your course. All in all green were ok, fairways pretty patchy half the time, but a good day with good company. GREENS ARE SLOW, trying to give info I look for when I read reviews
Still a good value
Always love this course.
i find it very challenging and love the layout.
Still needs work. Last year it wa the greens; this year its the fairways.
we played Saturday and hte greens must have been aerated recently so there were a lot of bump, but i like that they are taking better care of the greens.
there are a lot of rough spots on the fairways but there is clearly also a lot of repair gong on.
i recommend this course, but because of the spread out layout, you can't walk and be prepared for a longer round.
