Golfer Reviews
Great Fall Play
This course is spread out but so beautiful. The long distance between holes makes for a long day.
We always play here at least once a year and are never disapointed.
Absolutely worth it
A fantastic Fazio mountain course completely lined by trees with a significant amount of vertical rise/drop. Many elevated tees with gorgeous views. Conditions were sometimes hit or miss but the layout and challenge of the course made up for any minor shortcomings. An excellent value for the very reasonable greens fee. I almost always walk courses but this one is cart-only -- there are often very big distances between holes. Will definitely be back.
Hey - this place is what it is. Some really cool holes and some wacky ones . The layout is strange frankly. The pace of play is slow. All that said - it is unique and not boring. Something to be said about that!
No drainage. Course very wet, No roll. Green speed not consistent. Great views
Disappointed in conditions
Generally love this course. I love the blind holes and other challenges. i even like the distance between the holes.
But the condition of some of the Tee Area and greens is horrible.
We actually couldn't putt on two of the greens and were hitting off and standing in dirt on several holes . Very disappointed.
Strange, but not in a bad way!
Played early during the week in late August and saw one other golfer the entire time. That’s a good thing!
Possibly because this caters to vacationers or retirees who only play when conditions are perfect, the course was deserted. But that wasn’t the most interesting thing.
This course is laid out over a resort/residential neighborhood in the Pocono mountains, with holes up to 0.8 of a mile between each other (no walking allowed, therefore. Must use power cart).
Various holes sport breathtaking views of the mountains, with tee shots dropping over 150 feet in some cases. On some holes tee shots are blind, and most holes have narrow dog legs with unforgiving woods on either side. To compensate for that, the course from the club tees is relatively short.
Staff was very personable and helpful. The only ding is that unfortunately, the tee boxes and greens on a couple three holes were in unacceptably poor shape. Otherwise, if you’re in the area and enjoy a quirky challenge, definitely play here.
Needs work
Tee boxes are non existent. Hardly any grass on the tees. Fairways need work. The greens were in playable conditions.
Too many gnats and pesky little bugs flying around. Made it hard to concentrate on the game
Long grass is tough keep in play.
Views are spectacular, not crowded we played on a Sunday. Lots of elevation changes. Carts only,13miles of cart path through housing development. Plenty of time for drinks lol. Good prices.
CCoP
The staff was open about the conditions caused by the irrigation system issues they were having. A few of the green were in rough shape but overall it wasn`t as bad as I thought
it would be. I hope they can get it resolved because i would like to play it again!
Quirky Course !
Played for the first time, what a different layout. This course winds through residential neighborhoods, you have to be careful driving the cart down the streets, also have to pay attention to signs or you'll get lost. 12 miles of driving in the carts, but the course itself is short but very challenging. Unfortunately its in bad shape. Some greens and tee boxes are bare, fairways are muddy and spotty. Staff was great. Still had a good time, used GroupGolfer vouchers for $24 with cart, great price but maybe the course has seen too much traffic as a result. I wont go back unless I know its in better shape.
Wouldn’t recommend
They ask for cart path only, only 1/3rd of the tee boxes were still green, some holes the fairway are covered in divots and you are unable to find a patch of grass untouched by a previous golfer and lots of driving in between holes.
