Yesterday’s round
This was first time I got to play with son in law since before Covid-19. We paired with a young couple , who were a delight, to play with. Always enjoy playing here.
yuck
Was so excited to play this course for the first time. Quickly found out it was going to be a nightmare. The course is very tight and that's fine however it is not set up to be stacked tea time after tea time on the weekends. Five and a half hours dodging balls I'm being pushed from people behind us when there's nowhere to go. You can't get comfortable when you getting hit from all different directions. They need a ranger on the weekends and they need not have 10 minute tee times very disappointed
Slow play
Walked off the course after just 7 holes. Took 2 hours and 20 minutes to that point. 3 groups waiting on the 8th tee box. Couldn't take it anymore.
Great course with an amazing price
First time playing this course and I absolutely loved it. Great price and a very easy going staff! Course was in great shape, bunkers were maintained, and greens were fast and true! For the price your getting this course is a hidden gem and I will definitely be going back! Only downside is some of the awkward short par 4s, so you better start practicing your 100 yards and in wedge shots.
Terribly Slow
Last 4 times playing there it was 5+ hours for 18. They do nothing about keeping people playing to a 4 hour or faster pace.
Can you pack more on a course?
Nice course generally good conditions, but terrible pace of play EVERY time. Yesterday was a 5.5 hour round on a Tuesday.
Course was being aeriated
One disadvantage of booking online with GolfNow is not knowing if their is aeriation happening on the date you are selecting. Front nine was closed at the time we played so had to play back nine 2X which also had just been aeriated and holes were virtually un puttable. Not an enjoyable round,
Overall
Once course matures it should play above average. Still had a couple of hackers but that’s how it goes
Rude staff
Not worth the time, too many other courses out there where you don’t have to be a pro for the rangers to leave you alone.
I was unable to play.My friend played I was exposed to someone with cov19 and was advised to quarantine. I called the golf course and they told me to contact GolfNow but was unable to reach you.
