About
Situated amidst the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Mt. Airy Golf Club sprawls across lush rolling hills covered with lakes and ponds. There are also wandering streams that cut across the course. This demanding layout requires accuracy over distance with tree-lined fairways and a wildly undulating terrain. Golfers will be faced with tricky uneven lies as well as several blind shots. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. The golf course is challenging but high handicappers should not be too discouraged since it can also be quite forgiving, especially on the fairways, which offer some room for error. Mt. Airy is a demanding course, but the interesting hole designs are fun to play and the beautiful setting will make the round worth it even if your score is less than perfect.

Windy day
Unfortunately the wind was gusting up to 35 mph that day making an already difficult course impossible.

Great course, great day ! Had the course to ourselves
5 hours 10 minutes
Nice course and generally good condition. Took 5 hours 10 minutes to play on a Wednesday with an 11 am start. I never saw a Marshall or Pro on the course, Staff did nothing to speed up the pace of play. If you like to see 4 groups on one hole this is a great course. Pace of play was a huge issue on the day we played. Would not play here again.
Great conditions even after rain
Course was in great shape even after all the rain previous day. Could still use carts 90 degree.
Fun course always enjoy playing here. Nice greens.
Beautiful course, excellent greens.
Best greens I've seen in ages. It's a shame that the course has so many blind holes. First time playing there, I lost many shots by not knowing the lay of the land. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Beyond my understanding
Beyond my understanding how some golfers rated this course so high. Greens needed to be rolled and cut. Bunkers are in need of sand and major maintenance. Ranger is needed on course to help with some foursomes pace of play. Pro shop was closed at 5:00 and soda machine stole my money. If you want to be a 5 star resort/casino, you need a 5 star course and this is just not it.
Course Closure- Short Notice
Had a 1:10 tee time for 4 people. Received a call from course about 30 min prior that course was closing for the day.
Unfortunately, we had a 45 min drive to get to course and we were only 15 min away.
With $5.00 per gallon for gas, was a total loss.
Probably should give people at least an hour notice prior to closure.
Great Course
The course was in excellent condition. Extremely nice views from every hole. It was a very challenging course but fun to play. I’d recommend to anyone
Boys Trip
Starter nasty. Older gentlemen. Could hear him complaining on radio when we checked in. Maybe move him away from the customers? Other guy in short sleeve pullover came out to help us and was very nice and friendly. Course in good shape and we enjoyed ourselves. Rough could be cut back a bit and greens a little thick in spots but a very fun challenging course. Especially #1 always a B### breaker.
Scenic, many blind shots, greens a little shaggy
Some very scenic holes, interesting layout and helpful staff. Greens were slow and a little bumpy and some bunkers needed some maintenance. Overall, enjoyable and interesting, but could have been even better.
Course review
The course was in good condition. Since it is the middle of May, there was a lot of grass seeding ( to be expected ). I have a feeling in a couple of weeks the greens will run quite a bit faster. Overall a happy experience.
