I drive over an hour a couple times a year to play Tangelwood. Always worth it, and this time is no different.. Consistent conditions, incredible staff and a good price make the ride worthwhile, EVERYTIME!!

Today, no blue tees. White tees were the back tees. Most were moved forward with some tee boxes closed. Very nice definition between fairways and rough. Greens were fast. Most bunkers were good..

We played here on 5/6 after reading all the good press and reviews. This is a really nice well run place with super friendly staff. The course is well maintained and the greens are average in speed and difficulty. There are good elevation changes especially on the last few holes. 18th hole is a super uphill par 5 with a narrow fairway. 17th is a scary dogleg left par 4 with the tee shot being the key shot from the elevated tee. Almost every hole allows shots to run up onto the green. The par 4's are generally short in length so you will be using wedge often. The location is off the beaten track for sure but if you'd like to play at a nice very reasonably priced course, this is an excellent choice.

Great course, we’ll kept and the price was very good for the quality of the track. Highly recommend to others!

Tanglewood Manor is a nicely maintained, well run course in rural Pennsylvania. The pro shop staff and starter were outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Course conditions were good overall. The tee areas and fairways were excellent. Greens were pretty slow, but it’s a public course and gets a lot of play, so that’s understandable. Sand traps need work, some washed out areas. No restaurant, but a good little snack bar available for hot dogs, burgers, etc. Good quality at a decent price. Pace of play was good on the first nine (1:30), but really slow on the second nine (2:30). Never saw a ranger/marshall during our round, it would’ve been helpful to have someone providing assistance to the slower groups. All in all, we had a fun round.

At first I thought $50 was too much to pay. Little did I know that the course was going to be in such Great shape! Tee boxes are level and well . Maintained, fairways and rough were in excellent condition, greens were undulating and faster than other courses I’ve played recently; allowing a fun and challenging play.

Just played Saturday April 3rd and course was in great shape as usual and the green of the grass was really popping.Every time I play here it’s always a good time and the course is always in great shape and that is do to the workers Pro-Shop, the Starter and ground maintenance guys any other workers. Staff one of the friendliest I’ve seen at a course. At any other courses most the workers are a bunch of ignorant stuck up lil snobs, Not at Tanglewood

Awesome course for exceptional value. Fairways are in great shape and the greens ran true. Great chili dogs....no joke. The joy of finding a pro-shop where they’re not all jerks. Rarity!!!!

I've played at Tanglewood several times now and I always have a great time. Challenging course where you need all clubs, well maintained greens and bunkers. Carts with GPS are a very helpful feature that should be more common. Great value at snack bar.

Senior rate was great for such a real gem. Only bad thing, it rained for 2 days so had to stay on cart path.

It had been a while since I played at Tanglewood and, unfortunately, we got more rain than we expected. Still had a good day and the course was in great condition! Because of the rain we got a $5 discount which helped!
