About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Bare greens
I really enjoy playing this course, the only complaint I had was everything was kind of firm , need a hammer on some of the tee boxes , but I enjoyed the company I was hooked up with and the pace was excellent , although we were told to speed it up because there was a gap between the group in front of us which wasn’t our fault if they played very fast
Aerated greens
Course was in great shape except for aeration of the greens. This seems early for fall aeration. I’m used to this occurring in mid to late September.
Good track
Course is in good shape. Tee boxes a bit rough but not terrible. Greens in good shape and roll pretty consistent. Course is a good layout, with plenty of challenges for all levels of players. A good take.
Can’t wait to go back.
Great round of golf with the boys. The course was in amazing shape. On the turn, called in my order and it was ready the The Tavern on Ten. We went back for a few brews afterwards. Really nice staff there.

Coarse was in great shape and pace of play was very good. Only had to wait to tee off on one hole.

They have to refund and wouldn’t due to the course closing due to rain
Slow play
Even though we played with two old guys we were waiting on every tee for the front nine. The one gentleman we were playing couldn't hit it past 150 yards and we were still waiting on every tee. We get to the 10th hole and we run into grab some lunch and the group ahead of us let's go through. We come back to the t and the ranger tells us we need to hurry up because we are far behind. I told him it was not us the group ahead of us was slow when we waited on every single tee.
He proceeded to follow us on the next three or four holes even though there was no one even close to us.
