About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

well kept secret
This course is in excellent condition and doesn't beat you up… The greens are pretty quick and large courses well trapped… Don't let the course rating fool you… a par 70 and has many challenging holes… The staff is great… Would always recommend this course

Solid course, challenging if you're inaccurate
Design was interesting, condition was above average, staff kept pace enjoyable, clubhouse was solid.
Good shape but greens seem way to fast
I appreciated the management of the course and how I was treated from the front desk to the getting the cart to chatting with the guy at the first tee. The sand traps were very good! But the greens were so fast not just for me but everyone mentioned it, that it was very difficult to avoid three putting.
Great course awful Bar
Great course to play. Rate of play is ok but the conditions/greens are solid. Bar staff is awful. Expect at least a 20 min wait to get drinks at the turn.
Fast Greens! Firm course overall.
Greens were in great shape! Fastest greens I ever played on at this course. The course was playing pretty firm! A real challenge.
Not allowed to finish round
I had a 12:40 tee time. in my experience, with normal pace of play, a round should take about 4 hours. So my round should have lasted until around 4:40. At about 4:20, the course ranger came up to my group on the 17th hole and told us we had to leave the course because a league was starting. We made him repeat what he said and asked why we couldn't finish our round. He said we could have 5 minutes to complete our round and then we had to leave the course. I don't know many foursomes who could complete 2 holes in 5 minutes, so we left. I won't be returning to play this course again!
