About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Good Round
Paired up with another single and a twosome. Went off a few minutes early and finished under 4 hours. Cart path only and we still finished pretty quick.
Chilly and windy
Windy and chilly but not bad. Leaves everywhere but it is that time of year. BE CAREFUL what looks like just leaves on the ground sometimes hides a hole - Yes I took a roll on the ground when I stepped into what turned out to be a hole full of leaves so I went down. No damage other than pride but be careful when there are a lot of leaves around. Other than falling down it was a good day with the three guys they put me with.

The staff very considerate- was late in the after noon. Charged me for 9. & gave me discount. Very considerate was able to get 12 holes in. Thank you.
Windy And chilly.
About 4 hour round, weather was windy the whole time with a chill. Naturally still lots of leave around but only donated one ball to the golf gods due to a bad hit on my part. Overall not a bad day.
Winter Golf
The greens rolled true all day. Fairways are in good shape, and leaves don’t interfere finding your ball. Course is in Nice condition .
Best course
Best course I’ve ever went to love everything about it!
Pace of play
No rangers on the course to speed up slow groups so pace of play was subpar my last two rounds. 5 hours is a bit much for me.
Great Muni
Great short course. Is very tricky if you don’t hit your spots. Green speed is always about medium.
Well maintained course
The course was well maintained even with this summer being super dry. Pace of play was excellent versus other area public courses that seem to jam as many golfers on the course at once. Definitely will be returning and enjoying another round.
