Northampton Valley Country Club
About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Well done
This is what I had pictured when I thought Of a course with two months to get ready. In fabulous condition all around. I’ve been playing here for 30 years and it’s in the best shape I’ve ever seen. Greens were fast, yet held all but the hottest approach shots. Had a great day, played in just over 4 hours. Highlight was my birdie on 14. Will be back soon.
Great shape
The course was as good as shape as I've seen it. Greens were true. Will play agin.
Good value
Nice layout, not overall difficulty (although I made it difficult), and a fun course to play that was in great shape.
Nicely done especially with COVID
The 15 min tee times made the pace really enjoyable. I know you can’t do that all the time, but it was very nice.
Staff was very nice while enforcing the COVID restrictions and created a very relaxed atmosphere.
I’ll be back for sure.
good shape
After an unusual down year last season with conditioning it was great to see new irrigation system going in and the fairways and greens back to good playing shape. the greens were fast and smooth and a delight to putt on.
nice public course
Nice to see some work finally being done by the township since purchase over a year ago. Looking forward to seeing top quality course conditions once all the work is done. Tough par 3 holes and feel the 18th hole is set up wrong for average golfers and course gives little breaks to forward red tees for women.
Great Layout, Quick Pace of Play
Try to play here as much as possible. Can get a little pricey but incredible value for $24 on a hot deal. In great shape for this time of year. Finished the round in 3 hours on weekday afternoon
Friendly Staff
Upon entering the pro shop I was greeted by a person who obviously enjoyed their job. This is important when dealing with the public. You don’t want to start off your round with a negative attitude.
Worth a look
NHV is a typical Country Club design. It has many challenging features, and they love making you fly bunkers on tee shots and approach shots. The course was in great shape for this time of year (but a few of the greens were a bit spotty). Hot deal made it a must play- can’t touch this course otherwise.
Quick round
3 hours and done ,considering it's winter not bad, somewhat chilly as it never warmed us like the weathermen predicted.
A good day
Anytime you’re playing in January it’s a great day. Course in good shape for the time of year. Bunkers were a bit rough but it is January. Will play here again.

Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
The former pro would tell members to hit two wedges on 18 and apparently that attitude continues. I feel the same as you for this and some other holes where the lack of multiple and fair tee placement is evident.
