About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

An experience to remember
Course conditions were very good, pace of play excellent Just a great round.
Tee Boxes
Nice course and well taken care of fairways. Greens are fast and are in good shape. Tee Boxes were not very good, need some work. Did not intermingle with staff much, starter was very nice.
Perfect Weather makes for great golf
MY buddy and I were paired with 2 other golfers. It was a great day and the venue was tremendous. Despite the great weather, it was not too crowded on the course. Th course is very challenging even the par 3s require your attention. No putting your game on auto-pilot.
Easy play, well kept, learn obstacles
I liked this course and played well. Big mistakes possible if you don't check hazard distances. Long balls make all part 5 reachable in 2. Couple of really pretty holes. Good course maintenance.
Great Value
My fiend and I found this course on golf now. While we live in NJ the 45 minute drive to this course is well worth it. We have played here 3 times now and always enjoyed the course. The start is very friendly and will provide good advice about the course. There is plenty of variety on the holes with water and sloping fairways. Also most greens have slopes which make being below the flag key. The summer weather is impacting the course a little but no more than other courses we have played. The rate on golf now also makes it great value. Highly recommend
Fun yet challenging
Took the afternoon to play 18 with my wife and we loved it! We thought we'd picked a tee time where we'd be able to play without pairing up but it didn't work out lol. Nevertheless had a great time.
Nice course & people
Went as a single, got matched up with three friends who treated me well and were a pleasure to play with. Nice course, was in good shape, staff was courteous. I will definitely play there again..
Great course for any ability!
Beautiful course with plenty of bunkering and water on 6 or so holes. Lightning greens...very fair...lush fairways...MOSTLY well-sanded bunkers.
Great course to walk and very friendly, helpful staff. Great bar with very good food....should be open more...note: miss the old bar decor--it was classic!

I played here twice on my visit east and will be back! Nice course, great greens and price on GolfNow was a bargain!

Comfortable place to play
I play this course 3-4 times per season. It's generally busy so its normal to have a 4.5 hour round. Generously sized greens. Comfortable course.

Great course
The course is in great shape. Greens are fast. The pace of play was excellent. There was a slow group in front of us on the opening 9 and the marshal was quick to get things moving
Great day at Northampton
The greens were in great shape. Course in general was in fine shape. The starter was friendly and went over anything and everything before we tee'd. The weather was beautiful and overall a great experience. Only complaint would be some of the bunkers were pretty hard, but we've got a ton of rain. To be fair there were a couple that had a big pile dumped in the middle, so they are adding more sand.
Fast Greens
Course was in great shape except for a little rain (two inches overnight) which we had to stay on cart path. A little soggy in some places but otherwise in great shape. Greens were fast. Great hot dogs and cold beer. Would recommend course to anyone.
