About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Great course for any ability!
Beautiful course with plenty of bunkering and water on 6 or so holes. Lightning greens...very fair...lush fairways...MOSTLY well-sanded bunkers.
Great course to walk and very friendly, helpful staff. Great bar with very good food....should be open more...note: miss the old bar decor--it was classic!

Comfortable place to play
I play this course 3-4 times per season. It's generally busy so its normal to have a 4.5 hour round. Generously sized greens. Comfortable course.

Great course
The course is in great shape. Greens are fast. The pace of play was excellent. There was a slow group in front of us on the opening 9 and the marshal was quick to get things moving
Great day at Northampton
The greens were in great shape. Course in general was in fine shape. The starter was friendly and went over anything and everything before we tee'd. The weather was beautiful and overall a great experience. Only complaint would be some of the bunkers were pretty hard, but we've got a ton of rain. To be fair there were a couple that had a big pile dumped in the middle, so they are adding more sand.
Fast Greens
Course was in great shape except for a little rain (two inches overnight) which we had to stay on cart path. A little soggy in some places but otherwise in great shape. Greens were fast. Great hot dogs and cold beer. Would recommend course to anyone.
NVCC: Nice track
Northampton Valley CC is a very nice track. Best greens I’ve seen anywhere all year – smooth and fast with about zero ball marks. Lots of bunkers and some water.

Public golf at it's best
This is a nice straight forward public course always kept in great shape. The greens are fast with subtle undulations. It is not to be confused with high level championship layouts but it is no pushover and is playable for all. It is walkable.
Once again no warning about greens aerated
I'm of course mad, once again, that I was allowed to book full price without being notified that the greens were just aerated. A round of golf isn't worth anymore than 40% of the price when the greens are just aerated.
Make sure to ask them before booking because they apparently don't tell you.
Over Booked
The course was in great shape but they have a habit of over booking which causes a back up at almost every tee.
Some of the forward tee boxes were placed on tall grass. Greens were recently aerated. Poor markings from hole to hole. Directed the carts off the fairways too soon.
The course is easy to follow the flow from hole to hole. New tee boxes were in process of being build or enlarged.

Ok course, but not worth it!
For being the middle of March, the course was in great shape! However, there should never be a 7 group back-up on any course ever! I play very often and have never experienced a hour and half back-up. The course is nice but clearly it is not run properly, which is unfortunate because it is a nice course and course layout! I won't be returning!
I think a 7 group backup on the course is a gross exaggeration unless on the first tee when in the Spring and you have an unusually great weather day and there are no tee times which often happens in off season.
