Great course for the price
I play here about twice a month when I cannot find any course near my home. HHGC is in Spring Gove PA and I am about 65 miles south of it but it's worth a trip for the money. As of today, they didn't have any tee markings on the tee box but it was easy to know where to tee off. Highly recommended if you don't mind driving some distance.
Great except for very bumpy greens.
Great to be able to get out and play in the waning days of 2024. Temps in the low 50's but tolerable. Lots of wind which made some of the longer holes even longer. Course in good shape for winter with the exception of the greens with were very pock-marked with a recent aeration. Due to that, the greens were slow and bumpy with several putts being redirected by aeration holes. Other than the roughness of the green, an enjoyable round and very friendly staff.
Fall
Course was in pretty good shape for Nov.
Greens your air raided and leaves blowing all over some greens. Still not too bd to putt.

Fall Golf
Course was in good shape. Greens had been aerated recently and leaves were falling so it was a typical fall golf experience. Challenging layout.
Pace of play
Looks like they had a tournament and still had a full tee sheet so the pace was terrible waited for every tee box
Bad conditions
Course conditions were not very good, somewhat understandable due to the rain. There was numerous groups of people ahead of us with terrible play speed, they would constantly hit numerous balls after losing theirs and mess around. Took 40 minutes to play 2 holes.
